    We had performance transmission replace a transmission in our pickup. We picked the vehicle up and the transmission wasn't functioning properly so we took it back for warranty work clearly covered in the warranty. He claimed to have fixed it and then plugged into the pickup to set the tune and fried the computers. We had to pay someone else $2000 to flash the computers and the transmission still doesn't function properly. I would like my money refunded in the very least. We have been going back and forth with this company for over 6 months. He drives the same pickup we do and did the same thing to his own vehicle. We spoke with another transmission repair company and they said it's not built/assembled correctly. I have found other reviews with the same type of claims/complaints against this company. We are stuck with a pickup that doesn't work because of what he did to our vehicle. He needs to at the very least refund our money, I would like him to also pay for the $2000 worth of damage he caused to the computer. Please advise how to proceed.

    Customer took vehicle from another shop that was working on computer. His computer had an aftermarket tune on it previously that destroyed the transmission, which is not covered by warranty. Overhauled transmission for second time, attempted transmission reflash and the computer would not accept the reflash. Took it to dealership for reflash and customer picked up vehicle from there without paying for transmission overhaul and tow. Transmission cost was $8,600 with towing vehicle to dealership. Customer agreed to drop dispute. Talk to ****** ******* about dropping dispute.
