    I won a stainless steel sink through an auction put on by Auction Solutions. It was the ********* ********** *******. After winning the auction I was sent a link to schedule a pickup time and so I scheduled today between 12pm and 1pm. Upon arriving at the location a little after 12, no one from Auction Solutions was at the pickup location. I also discovered that all of the equipment including the sink I purchased were still hooked up. I called Auction Solutions to let them know and they said they just found out twenty minutes earlier that things were not ready for pickup and they were calling everyone to reschedule pickup until Wednesday. Unfortunately I had already driven from Lincoln this morning and wasted an hour and a half of my day going to pick up an item that I purchased and was told would be ready for pickup. I spoke with the owner of Auction Solutions on the way home and she told me her staff assumed everything would be ready for pickup because they had been told that. However no one from Auction Solutions even tried to verify everything was disconnected. The owner of Auction Solutions told me I could just disconnect everything and rip the sink off the wall myself. I think without written permission from the owner of ********* I could be held liable if they did not like the way I took the sink off. Not to mention, nowhere in the auction description or the pickup terms did it mention the need for tools to remove items, or even directions to do so. The owner of Auction Solutions said it was not their fault, however the fault of ******** for not removing things. However as I explained, it is Auction Solutions fault as they were the ones that sold the items and arranged for pickup times. As opposed to just assuming pickup was ready they could have verified it. Today was a waste of my time and my my money.

    ****** called several times and shared his opinion about the events and how they happened with most of my Staff.  He is angry as I will not total responsibility for another's actions or lack thereof.

    As I explained to him, The Seller had been on the telephone every day leading up to the auction end. The pickup times had been discussed, and the Seller set the dates and times to coincide with days where there were no grocery deliveries scheduled. The day we finished the catalog to start the Auction my Staff were told by the owner that he would disconnect the FF&E now that the catalog was going live.

    It was the owner who requested that he himself coordinate the disconnection of FF&E and have it ready for easy removal.

    The auction closed, the owner was sent the pickup items, and we prepared for the pickup times.  Pick up day arrived, and the disconnection of the FF&E had not been facilitated, the items were not ready to be removed, and my staff was diligently dealing with rescheduling the buyers who had not arrived to get them a day when the items would be disconnected for pickup.  Working directly with the Seller, they rescheduled 70 persons.

    We have refunded ******** $7.00 plus Buyer Premium and Tax totaling $8.82.   I do not believe that the $10 in gas is warranted.
