    First I just want to say how grateful I am for Matt and his knowledge and expertise. He was a great dentist and I'm not happy about having to leave him. I have been a patient of Matt's for nearly 9 years. Tia, the receptionist, started a few years back and has never treated me as an adult. I am 26 years old and Tia would inform my mother who is also seen there when I had missed appointments, bills due, etc. I asked Tia multiple times to stop sending the bills to my mother. What Tia did not know is I make 30,000 more dollars a year than my mother so no I did not want her paying my bills. Tia refused to even send the statements to my own home address; instead sending them to my mother.
    A few months back, I chipped my teeth pretty bad from grinding at night. I called and asked for it to be treated as an emergency since I was doing it at night and needed a mouth guard asap so I didn't have to pay for any further chips. They agreed to do so. I went in to get them fixed and fitted for my mouth guard which I was supposed to pick up within the next 3 days. Unfortunately, Matt had a personal matter during that time, which I completely understand, but after reaching out for weeks saying more and more teeth were chipping and I didn't want to be financially responsible for all of them, Tia finally got back to me to let me know I would be financially responsible for all the chipped teeth that he fixed previously as well as the new chipped ones. I let her know I would be taking my business elsewhere because I felt this was very unfair. I tried to reach out and ask for other options to not have more chipped teeth, but was given no recommendations or even a courtesy phone call.
