    Placed an order on 5/13/2023 through mobile app. When picking up order *********, that was already paid for in app, employee said they were closed and didn't not have the order. It was just after 7pm on a Sat evening. Employee stated they were not going to " drop any ******* nuggets". When asked for refund, emoyee advised it would have to be done through app. There is no refund option in app. When asking the employee to show us on the app where that could be done, the employee couldn't. We immediately filled out Wendy's survey indicating we would like to contacted. No contact was made. I called Wendy's customer service on 5/16/2023 and initiated a case. I was given case# ******** and advised refund would take 7-14 days. I called Wendy's customer service again on June 1, 2023 to advise no refund has been issued. Customer service rep took information and advised they were contacting district manager. I was told I would receive a call back because district manager was not answering their phone. I did not receive a call back. It's been 20 days since Wendy's essentially stole my money. I want a refund to the method of payment I used to pay for the order I never received.

    After advising customer service that I filed a complaint with BBB the situation was escalated to an assistant named Sherry. She was able to secure a refund to my original payment source. Thank you for your assistance.
