      My deceased mother, was with individual Hugh R*** for many years. His "service" consisted of visiting her and my deceased stepfather once a year to sit with them for a couple of hours and placate them. Case in point, I, as POA when my Mom had gone into memory care over 2 years ago, decided to consolidate and move accounts to Northwestern Mutual near us that was aggressive and constantly managing her investments. Once the transfers occurred 2 years ago, I had to find out from her accountant that he had squirrelled away 360k from being transferred. I let this go until talking with him yesterday about some bogus LLCs he had her invest in that earned and did nothing. His response was that he didn't know why we were transferring accounts 2 years ago but he couldn't pick up a phone or email us. Furthermore, on the LLCs, it took 4 hours and a call to Operations Manager Ashley to get him to answer my call. This is not an individual that understands or honors fiduciary responsibility. Stay away from this company. Another case in point, there is no way to file complaint or review for their company. That tells you volumes about the potential lack of ethics. Again I say, STAY AWAY from this company and Hugh R*** specifically!
