We had the Garage Floor Co, coat our garage floor as well as our back patio. In 2019. The warranty was 15/years. We noriced in early 2020(COVID) that the product was wearing. We contacted our sales person, **** ****** *** ********, that with COVID, could he come out after restrictions were lifted….Once restrictions were lifted, **** came out and said he was having a lot of complaints in patios and would have to think about solution, He never called back. My husband continued to send him text messages and finally said we would pay to repair the patio but we had wear issues in the garage. He agreed if we paid $300.00 he would come back out. This was the spring of 2023. He called my husband once and said he was coming out and we were out of town. **** said he would put us back on his list….we have not heard from him since. My husband sent him a text message about three weeks ago and told him we were hiring another company to,fix our patio but wanted him to fix the garage issues ( still under the 15 year warranty) .no reply,..
I contacted the Gargare Floor Company via their Jotform …and franchise headquarters…also stating if you have concerns with work to contact them) no response….i sent another folllow up to the garage floor company (15125 Industrial RD , Omaha ) on March 6 …still no reply.
I hope you assisting getting our garage floor coating repaired since it is within our 15 year warranty and again, we gave up on the good sell of coating the patio which was a disaster!

      Thank you

Yes we were contacted back in 2020 to look at the patio and garage. Yes there was an issue with their patio and garage. However both were related to concrete failure which is written out in the warranty as not covered. The concrete failed and not the coating. That was pointed out to both homeowners. You could easily see the crumbling concrete on the patio especially. I told them it would be a patch if they wanted to go that way and there would be that $300 charge, but the best avenue was to have it completely redone. As time passed we made the decision to no longer do patios because of the concrete failures and the expectation from the clients that we fix it as a warranty even though concrete failure is not under warranty. As far as the husband making contact, he never texted myself, **** ******, he has been texting **** ****** who works for me but has been out on injury leave. Even to this time they are still on the repair list. We haven't started repairs yet for 2024. They were advised that if they were flexible and allow us to fit it in when we are in the area we would not charge for the repair, however at this present time there will now be a charge since the repair is not under warranty. At all times they were free to go to any company to pay for these repairs. Once again the repairs weren't under warranty and there is a fee involved along with required scheduling if they want to go down that route. Attached is part of warranty that describes the limited warranty exclusions. Also, this is on our website for full transparency.

      See sections B, F and K

      2. Warranty Exclusions.
      a. Curing times are dependent upon ambient temperature and humidity, and upon the type of coating system installed. The Company will inform Purchaser of the required curing times following installation, during which walking or parking/driving of vehicles on the coated substrate(s) is not permitted. If Purchaser does not observe the stated curing times, the limited warranty will be deemed null and void.
      b. The limited warranty excludes any defects resulting in whole or in part from incorrect information received from Purchaser, substrate-related issues or defects, or the improper use or maintenance of the product.
      c. The limited warranty excludes any product manufactured by third parties.
      d. The Company does not warranty any coating against battery acid damage. Purchaser should use caution when filling or charging golf carts, motorcycles or any other automotive-type batteries.
      e. Cracks in expansion joints are normal and unavoidable. The Company will reasonably attempt to disguise cracks in the concrete slab; however, the Company does not guarantee that these cracks will not reappear.
      f. The limited warranty excludes cracks or concrete structural issues of any kind.
      g. Existing surface contaminants such as automotive fluids as well as natural color variations and imperfections in the concrete may show through our clear or staining applications. The Company cannot be held responsible for discoloration caused by these occurrences.
      h. The limited warranty excludes any defect caused by alterations or modifications of any kind.
      i. The limited warranty excludes abuse, misuse, neglect or accidents (e.g., scratches, chipped concrete, dropped items, lack of cleaning, scrubbing/buffing machines, harsh chemical cleaning).
      j. The limited warranty excludes harsh chemicals including without limitation battery acid, brake fluid, and paint stripper.
      k. The limited warranty excludes cracking and chipping in the underlying concrete because the Company cannot be held responsible for concrete that cracks due to heaving, shifting, popping, settling, or ground movement.
      l. The limited warranty excludes dulling of finish or staining caused by Purchaser’s negligence which includes but is not limited to lack of general/cleaning care, heavy use, harsh chemical cleaning, cleaning with abrasive material and/or chemicals, of the use of scrubbing/buffing machines.
      m. The limited warranty excludes rust stains appearing from the coating, either on top or from within.
