      I purchased a gallon of milk under the brand name glenview farms...the parent company is US Foods. However I am not sure what i actually purchased as the "milk" did not taste, cook or even have the same texture as the hugh quality umpqua brand i usually buy. I found this out while trying and failing to make biscuits and gravy. It was almost immediately i found the liquid separating under heat. A strange clear liquid that behaved like oil and looked like water began to rise to the surface. It prevented the gravy from coalesing entirely and absorbed in the biscuits immediately making them soggy. When I went to rinse the substance out of my bowl it immediately came out easily and almost left the bowl clean with no soap needed...there was almost no grease from the sausage in the bowl that normally takes 2 or 3 washings to get squeaky clean. So I ask US foods what are you actually putting out and labelling as milk? I was raised drinking milk from the cow so i am very aware if there are impurities...ie grain taste, odd consistency or cooking performance. And I can definitively say this white liquid is not milk...its packaged as such however. I request the company reimbursement me for my ruined meal...approximately 25.00 and that they are force to undergo an intense investigation by a 3rd party in order to determine what this liquid actually is...as oil and water easily separate like this liquid did with the gravy. If there is anything but milk in this product I want to be made aware asap and the company should be disciplined according to US Law for false product identification. I tried to contact us foods directly but their customer service number does not work so there is that issue as well. I want to know what this is and would be happy to share my findings on social media and to any member of the actual media and any attorneys as well as this is a potentially far reaching isshe with US foods comoany and their substandard products
