    Heroe’s Lawn Care Omaha charged me for services not performed. I paid their bill online, but when I noticed there was a problem, I tried contacting Heroe’s five times and they never responded. I scheduled and paid for lawn aeration and overseeding. After 3 weeks of constant daily watering nothing was growing. No new grass was when there should have been a lot of new growth. There was no seed applied when they aerated. Not even a single seed was found on the bare ares of the lawn. They told me twice they would apply 3 lbs of seed per 1000 sq ft, so there should have been about 15 lbs of grass seed applied. At first after discovering no new grass growth, I thought maybe they forgot to apply the seed, or maybe their equipment had malfunctioned. Now, after making five phone calls and leaving email/text messages about the issue, no one responded. It’s obvious Heroe’s Lawn Care Omaha does not want to take accountability for charging me for services not rendered. Here are some details about the issue:
    -Scheduled services of lawn aeration and overseeding were performed on Sep 24, 2024.
    -I was quoted and charged $160.00 for the work, which I paid for on Sep 26, 2024.
    -Starting on Sep 24, 2024 I began to water the lawn twice daily for 3 weeks.
    -I monitored the lawn and thin/bare areas daily. No growth or even loose seed was present.
    -Starting on Oct 10, 2024 I tried calling Heroe’s business at ************ several times. Their voicemail box was always full so I couldn’t leave a message. Someone must have been monitoring calls though, because I received text messages from several Heroe’s customer reps asking what work I needed. When I explained the issue to them no one ever replied back.
    - I sent text messages to ***** ********* (owner/manager?), and two customer reps ****** and ****** about the issue but got no response.
    -I have text messages to show I tried in good faith to discuss the issue.

    This is to update my complaint against Heroes Lawn Care-Omaha.

    After submitting my complaint to BBB, the manager of Heroes Lawn Care finally contacted me. I offered several times to have someone from the business come out and look over the Lawn with me so they could see the problem first hand. After a brief discussion a refund was offered to me. I am satisfied with the response, and would like to consider the complaint resolved.
