    Hired Meagan for my divorce and while she wow’d me in the interview and had me convinced she would advocate for my kids and I, what followed was anything but the level of service I anticipated receiving. She conducted the entire process via email (only showing up for me once in court) and was put off by questions and my need for additional information to ensure I understood everything. She made the negotiation process very confusing and was not consistent, making me question if I was loosing my mind. Even after thumbing through emails to screenshot her numbers and her words, it didn’t matter, she always had a rebuttal to justify things even though my gut knew they were off. She was pushy. She made me feel like another paycheck for her and not a person. She THREATENED on a few occasions to drop me if I didn’t agree to the terms presented to me and never even considered going to trial on my behalf. Claiming this was due to my balance due at the time, even though she knew ahead of time that she’d be getting paid first out of the proceeds I was to receive and DID. She over charges for her services aka representation from behind the keyboard and will take any monies you may stand to rightly receive. Her business practice of threatening her clients during such a difficult time in life is shameful. She may have been a good attorney to some, but I feel like I have been duped. I will forever be reminded of her unethical ways and poor business practices whenever I hear her name or Nebraska Legal Group’s. Do not recommend.

    Well, I would have to agree with Steve and let it be known, Nathan S****** does not perform up up to standards. He is sloppy and unorganized. He had to appear for one of my court dates due to Alex being unavailable. I wasn't comfortable with him and he had no idea what was going on with my case.

    Like Steve, I have also had a very negative experience with Nebraska Legal Group. My current attorney Alex Lierz, Estrella Chavez, and Alyson Ryan have not met my expectations in the slightest way. They fail to communicate in a productive manner. I'm not an attorney and have very little knowledge of court cases, terminology, and the process of Modifying a Parenting Plan. Alex failed to answer my questions or reply to emails I would send to try and get an understanding of what was occurring with my case. I have been in this court case since 10/2023 due to my ex-husband. Nebraska Legal Group is not a professional law office. My attorney slammed the door in my face because I came to the office wanting to speak with Alex. This was after I had tried to get in contact with her to SET UP an appointment. Estrella is literally zero assistance. She would state that she's not an attorney or Alex is busy and can't meet with me. Estrella would state she didn't know what was going on because she hadn't spoken to Alex. It was always excuses and never answers. Estrella did not provide me any information about my case. I am very dissatisfied by everyone at Nebraska Legal Group. I would not recommend any attorney at this law office to represent anyone dealing with Family Law.

    They worst experience ive ever had with a lawyer!! Nathan s********* not only lied to me about how much it would cost to handle my case but he did absolutely nothing for me!! He told me it would cost me $7500 to handle the 2 cases i needed help with we got through the 1st case and he sends me another bill for $4000 and i couldnt afford to pay another $4000 so he withdrew as my lawyer and only did half the job!! He had almost 2 months to prepare for the 1st case and didnt bother contacting me until a week before our court hearing!! Then he didnt want to fight for me and tells me theres nothing he could do so he forces me into making a settlement offer which i wasnt happy with!! I felt like i was not only fighting my ex wife but fighting against him as well!!! He put me in a worse situation then what i was in before i hired him!! He didnt care about my case he just took my money and ran!! I would not recommend nathan or nebraska legal group to anyone after this experience!!! This guy should be flipping burgers at McDonalds and not trying to represent people with legal matters!!! STAY CLEAR!!!
