      I entered the facility 5 years ago for a steroid injection. I signed a waiver for an anesthesiologist to give me anesthesia prior to the Injection. Directly following the anesthesiologist left the room without giving me anesthesia and a medical assistant sat down and began to inject anesthesia. I started to contest and was immediately unconscious. I awoke later and I was upset and the same medical assistant told me it was okay for her to do this. I disagreed. When they rushed me out I was disoriented and had blood running down my clothing. I slept for three days, only waking briefly. I contacted them numerous times and no one cared. They sent me a bill I paid. Then sent me another one .I called them and gave them my confirmation number and they threatened collection. I paid it again. They continue to try to collect on a bill that should have never been paid and they should be in sued for what they did to.me.

      Hello, We do not have any Medical assistants that work in our Ambulatory Surgery Center.  They are all RN that are certified in Sedation.  There was a CRNA in the room that day with this patient and he administered sedation. We have no phone calls from patient after her procedure and at her follow up visit 1 month later she does not bring any of this up to the physician. All her other procedures went fine. It seem that she has a balance and does not want to pay this.   Since this is 5 years old I will not argue about it and I will write off the balance for her. Thank You ******

      I have attached the consent you signed stating Anesthesia Services will be performed by an Anesthesia Provider, MD, CRNA, RN.  I did write of  the balance and you now have a 0 balance account.  Please reach out if you have any further questions. Thank You

      Please write this bill off. There should not be a balance.  It was paid multiple times as stated previously.
