This complaint is a plot to not be sued.  This person threatened to "choke me out and remove me from this earth". I have audio and text messages to show his threats and clear lack of understanding the process or his wife's choices for the project.  The person making the complaint was NOT involved with this project until more than half way through. My team gave his wife over 40 hours of additional labor at no cost to help her with the stress of the project and the stress of her husband. I have full documentation . Here are lies that can be verified through text messages and emails with his wife ..

    1.  I never once claimed to be a licensed General Contractor. I stated several times that I'm a licensed business contractor with Nebraska ..as I am.

    2.  The countertop ordered was approved by his wife.

    3.  I have only updated the invoice to reflect the additional materials he must now pay for as well as the value of the tools he has stolen from us. (Police report filed)

    4.  I offered many times to work with him and his expectations to finish the job.

    5. I didn't need to pull any permits, as there was no work I performed that requires it ..per Nebraska laws.

    6. This person is an ex marine sniper with loaded weapons in clear site of 5 young children who threatened to hurt me.

    7.  All changes and add-ons for his work was approved.

    8. I personally lost over $3k of profit trying to make his wife happy.

    9.  My contract clearly stated that a timeline to completion is based on ideal situations and any changes or add-ons to the project will delay that timeline.

    10.  This person is upset because I have filed a lein against him, have reported his wife for running an illegal commercial kitchen, have reported that he made structural changes to his home without a permit.

    11. His wife has an itemized copy of all charges. This is something I don't give out to any client. They have all receipts of any materials purchased.

    12. The job was more than 70% completed. He does not understand the process to complete a project and made assumptions and was upset that his wife was making decisions that he was not involved in.

    13. I am more than happy to send various text or email conversations, provide a copy of the agreement, etc.

I can't help but laugh. He's posting "issues" that were in "process" .  As for the "gas line".. this was something his wife really wanted done..she was freaking out and both her and I reached out to find a plumber. In the end, I was able to hook it up. I did NOT hook up any of the actual gas line. They had a "friend" run the gas line without a permit. I have text messages that show all of this. The handle he shows coming off was a temporary install so his wife could use the drawer. We used the screws they gave us and one was not tightened. The rest were fine. Normal stuff that happens that you finish when it's time to finish. He does not even know what stage we were at. He is assuming the handles were on for good. They were not. We put them on because his wife wanted them on. She was told they would need to come off for us to finish the painting on the cabinets. Perfectly normal part of the process. As for the beams. Again ...he does not know ...as he was not involved at all during the first 2 weeks of the remodel. I made it clear to his wife that we were only "wrapping" the current beams. Initially we were going to "box" the beams, but she didn't want to pay the extra. We agreed to wrap them and there were some areas that needed addressed and as my texts to her will show, I immediately recognized it and made sure she understood that we will fix whatever Joe was not happy with. However, if he wanted them boxed, he would need to pay for the additional labor and wood. This was very clear. I offered again to remove the bottom piece of the wrap and make sure it was corrected. Several times I have offered to work with him directly to finish the project, but he would rather contact my family members, threaten my life, threaten my workers, be racist to my workers, emotionally abused his wife and steal my tools. We will let the lawyers work this out. If you need more proof of their abuse of all of this, I encourage you to reach out to T&T cabinets...as they can attest to their abuse and unprofessionalism.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

I will let the pictures speak for themselves. We told **** to stop working on the beams because of how bad the wood fit. Angles were cut in the wrong direction and wedges that were cut to mask the imperfections were falling out. There are still 1/2"-1" gaps from the wood to the walls. After being told to stop and after expressing our concerns, he said he would fix everything and to just trust him. So we did. **** made a sample of finished product that also looked horrible, and we were sure to let him know. **** continued with a ridiculous stain on the wood he put up that we told him we were not happy with. He never actual fixed the issues. The first 2 images will be before the stain, last 3 are after the blotchy stain. You can also see ****'s lack of prep before paint also in all the photos. But he primed and painted anyways. His continuous personal attacks shows that he has nothing to say about the actual issues.

    Sincerely,
