I paid to have my main drain and water supply line be replace. This was June of 2023. The closet where my water meter comes into the house was leaking water and damaged carpet walls and everything in the area. Plumbrite came out dug up the water line to learn that they did not replace the entire water supply line that I paid for but they left approximately 1 1/2ft of pipe of the water line. The connection point of the new (copper line) was tied to the old (pvc) line and at that connection point it failed and leaked into my home. They put a flare fitting and added the extra copper to finish the rest of the line into my home. Now I'm concerned that this flare fitting is one sitting next to my foundation two a fail point (weak spot) for my water line. When I paid for a brand new line not a spot repair with a splice. Also while using the excavator next to the side of my house they hit my porch that I can see above the ground where now I have a large crack in where I can feel air leaking out of my home. Which will than be another leak issue for my house.

Our invoice states that we were replacing the water service from the outside of the house to the stop box with copper. No where in our contract does it state that we were doing any work inside of the home. We did remove the small section of PVC water pipe from outside of the home to the inlet of the meter and installed a new inlet shut off on the outlet side of the meter, it was connected to plastic pipe and fittings that we never touched. It was not in the options or in the contract. The only reason we had to replace the PVC water pipe was because it was not up to code and we exposed it when working on the sewer. I have no record of this customer calling in to make Plumbrite aware of any leak. How would you like me to proceeded?

Attached is a copy of my call log showing I contacted plumrite multiple times. The leak happen at the fitting that was installed by plumbrite. The reason the water supply line was replaced to begin with was due to the fact plumbrite hit the water line during excavation as the sewer and water line run parallel of eachother.

Also is attached is an image of my porch that was hit by the excavator after the dig. I lived in this home with no leaks no issues with water intrusion until the work plumbrite performed on my home after there work I found water coming into the home due to the careless excavation team hitting my porch putting a gapping hole that they covered up with dirt. Within a year the fitting that was installed outside my home was leaking and plumbrite refused to perfume any responsibility of the negligence. I have since had to pay for water restoration to dry all this repair all the damages from the water.
