When we first met Tom, we thought he was genuine. However, he is not a fiduciary of your money. The reality is that you give money to Tom and he sells it to ******* and in return, earns a 2-5% commission. He has no real affect on how it's invested, therefore provides no real value in his services. He takes advantage of those heading into retirement with his presentation at his complimentary dinners. Over the course of 2 years, we have called him four times with no return calls. Did not receive any annual reviews. A function of over promising and under delivering.
Tom is basically an insurance salesman. There are many other great financial advisors to choose from that will provide significantly better strategies and service. Do your research before choosing your advisor or, follow **************** advice - Buy index funds.

We are sorry to read your opinion of your experience with LifeLong Financial Solutions. Our firm appreciates any feedback, and of course while we prefer hearing positive comments, a negative review creates the opportunity to better explain what we do as an organization.
Regarding communication, we take pride in the customer service we provide to our clients, and returning phone calls or emails is a priority for us. In that regard, we send a written notification three weeks before the annual review date asking for a call from the client to our office to schedule a review. In addition, my cell phone number, office phone number and email address are listed on all of the company materials. We have investigated your complaint and find no record of any calls or emails that went unanswered. We also send regular correspondence from our office every other month inviting clients to join us at education events. Where the client consents to communications via email and text we also communicate in that manner to announce special education events. We have verified you have been on those communication lists.
I take pride in being an insurance salesman. Ours is a family business that employs good people and helps people. Contrary to your statement, you never gave me or our office any funds, nor do we ever accept funds from any client, nor do we ever 'sell money' to insurance carriers. All client funds are payable directly to the carrier. As it relates to our value to clients, the products that we sell are not invested directly in the market, hence clients will not ever have market losses when the market declines, and thus we provide clients with the opportunity to buy products created and sold by carriers that help keep money safe, creates the opportunity for growth and if chosen, can become an income stream that will pay clients for the rest of their lives. There are many such products to choose from with multiple carriers and we present which options may best suit the objectives of each individual client.
Again, your feedback is appreciated. We are sincerely sorry you were not satisfied with your experience and acknowledge your stated preference to invest in index funds which fluctuate in value when the market declines. We do not recommend nor do we sell those products.Review fromTim B
