Following a major hailstorm in May 2024, HomePride offered services to make repairs to roof, siding, gutters, flashing. We selected the company due to their advertisement of doing roofs, sidings, windows, gutters. We did not want to subcontract the different repair services. The agreement to complete the roof was signed May 30th, in the mean time the HomePride rep cut a 12" x 15" section of siding to match. The intent was to sign the agreement for siding once we knew if siding could be matched. The roof was completed in September with gutters shortly after. A corner of the siding was removed and not replaced by roof crew. I reached out to the HomePride rep immediately to report missing siding. I continued to reach out to HomePride rep, finally the rep responded we could find another contractor for siding or wait till spring (this was Oct/Nov timeframe) but could sign the agreement over the winter. I agreed and said we can wait till spring. No agreement was presented to me, so unable to contact the rep, I called the HomePride office this March. I was told the rep would contact me and we would work to get it resolved. I did speak to the rep who claimed he was having trouble getting in contact with my insurance, I contacted my insurance, they have no record of rep contacting them to discuss the siding. Two issues-
      1) siding that was removed and not replaced during roof replacement. Replace missing piece with exact or similar (color) piece of siding.
      2) complete the job, at this point though I am looking for other contractors. The lack of correspondence to complete this job has been unprofessional.

      To Whom It May Concern:

We kindly request this complaint be deemed invalid and removed from the Home Pride profile for the following reasons:

Home Pride was only contracted to perform Roofing and Gutters Replacement per the attached contract at the time of this complaint.  Home Pride does not have an obligation to perform additional work on siding or other trades not contracted for.  Please see attached contract and invoice that was paid for by the client.  Client received the Roofing and Gutters services, contract was fulfilled, and client paid for those services.

This client's complaint is regarding siding services not contracted for.  In communicating with the client, he indicated to our office that he filed the complaint by mistake and desired to remove the complaint.

We greatly appreciate your time and consideration in this matter.

      Kind Regards,

      ******** ****

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I do not concur with business this was a mistake complaint. If the intent was not to work with me on siding then why take cut a large piece of siding and this does not dismiss the missing siding removed and not replaced during the roof repair.

Since this complaint the company has reached out to me and we have signed a general agreement to finish repairs.

      Sincerely,

      ****** *****

I signed a General Contract on 6/26/24 for them to do work on my property, then signed a siding contract on 7/28/24 that states the Prices of Goods and Services is a total of $12,825.00. It does NOT state this as an upgraded price as Home Pride is now saying it is. My salesperson *** ******, stated to me that the difference between what the insurance will cover & the upgraded siding would be around $3500. out of pocket so that is what I planned for. I have paid them $11,810.22 for initial payment. I received a bill dated 1/22/25 for $26,921.15. I paid them another $5,110. for the upgrade amount quoted to me by ***, my deductible & a piece of plywood. They are adding the $10,515.67 that insurance is covering with the contract amount of $12,825.00 which is double billing me. I met with *****, the Operations Manager on 4/4/25 & he stated that what *** told me was incorrect & he had to get with the owner ******** to see how to handle. I talked to ***** again on 4/7/25 & 4/8/25 & he said owner of Home Pride would only meet with me if I paid $12,750.60. I stated if I pay that, they need to provide me with a paid in full letter and remove the Construction Lien they placed on my property. He refused. I asked for copies of contracts and again they refused. I have been working on this billing issue with *** since January 2025. My attorney & theirs have been back & forth. Their attorney did state in a letter that *** does not do or understand the billing, but I have texts with *** that this is all an error on their end, & he was getting is resolved but have not resolved it. They admitted *** was in the wrong. That is on them, not me. I have letters from their attorney stating some inaccurate info about trying to settle with me. They have not made any offers & have refused mine. They have no integrity & need to go after their employee, ***, for any extra, due to him misinforming & deceiving me. They have all the documents already. This has not gone to court, yet. Thank you.

      To Whom It May Concern:

This complaint should be deemed invalid as it is has been litigation with ***** ****** ******** ***** **** *************.  I am very surprised *** ******** stated litigation had not commenced as she hired a lawyer who sent a demand to institute judicial proceedings on April 9th, 2025, which prompts immediate legal filing.

I greatly appreciate you deeming this complaint invalid.

      Thank you,

I did not hire an attorney as ******** stated. I used an attorney through my work and she was advised of this before she even reaponded. I even stated in my intial complaint that the attorneys were going back and forth. I am not stupid and a letter from an attorney does not automatically mean to file a lawsuit. That said, the attorney also did NOT demand any judicial proceedings to start. I know the truth, they know the truth and I have given it to God to handle. I have all the documents and so do they but they will not ever make it right.

I stand by what I stated that this company has zero Intergity. You can close this case as she will not be honest and I will no longer go back and forth with her or this.

      Thank you.
