Currently have a storage unit with the Bellevue location. Sent in move out form on the 19th. After this was submitted I received an email stating my unit was locked and I would not have access due to owing $81 from September. I feel they purposely extorted money from me. If my payment had been late since September, why am I just now hearing about it? I had to pay $81 in order for me to gain access. I want this money refunded.

The tenant made virtual check payments. Then these payments were later reversed by the bank. The payment was reversed the balance was due per the lease.

I am rejecting this response because:

They did not notify me in a timely manner that this occurred. They only notified me when I informed them I was moving out of my storage unit. They are money hungry, they locked my unit so I was not able to obtain entry without paying the false charge. The charge occurred in September of last ye

      Sincerely,

For several years now, Dino's Storage customer service has gotten worse and worse. A year ago, they posted signs outside saying lowest prices in town, (False Advertisement). One month later, they raised the rate on my unit. I sent messages asking about the rate increase, and nobody would reply. 4 months later, I missed a payment on purpose, and then the phone calls began to come. Every person I spoke to was rather rude and used obscenities. Once I finally found an employee who had actual decent customer service, they explained to me why the rate went up. One employee had told me, screw you, I can make more money kicking you out, essentially. For several years, I have been paying $10 to $15 more then my rent to build up a balance, and when I missed the payment, they sent an "Auction Notice" for a balance due of $35.00. I raised the concern on the wording of the letter. I still pay each month, more then my balance, and this month, I paid before the deadline of the payment due, and a week later, I began getting phone calls regarding a $2.00 Balance. First Employee did not have access to my account and told me ***** ***, pay your bill." I began asking for the owner of Dino's Storage to contact me, and have been told by many that this not going to happen. Yesterday (7/11/24) I received an Eviction Notice from the Company because I said I was going to talk to the Attorney General. The customer service has gone severely down hill over the past 6 years, and have in the past, Raised Rates of units without properly contacting the Renters. The attitude comes across that they are Slum Lords for Section 8 Housing.

Enclosed are the screenshots of the email sent from Dino's Storage. The person **** stated in his email that I was to direct all questions regarding my eviction to him. I sent him a response requesting an answer & to this date, still has not responded to me.
This is another concern with Dino's Storage since the untimely passing of the owner David Paladino where the employees will not communicate with the customers regarding their Storage units.
I fell that this company has committed many acts of theft by locking people out of their Storage units & auctioning them off under their unethical tactics.
I have since moved my property out of Dino's Storage and into another unit in case this issue didn't get resolved.
I still would like action against Dino's Storage to involve the owner to ensure future customers do not encounter the same situation I endured.

      Thank you,
