    Issue; Fraudulent sales tactics, not disclosing recalls that was not completed on a used vehicle. Failure to disclose issues with vehicle, any follow-up from dealership, and lack of assistance in fixing issue at hand (non stop check engine light since buying the vehicle. Belief is that it was purposely hidden from consumer)

    After Austin purchased the vehicle and drove it 500 miles he contacted our office and told us the check engine light had come on. We recommended he fill the *** up with high Octane 91 fuel and let it cycle through to see if it corrected the issue. We don't recall ever hearing back from him after that. Firstly, we do not sale cars with known engine issues. Secondly, it is a used vehicle and we cannot determine when mechanical issues will occur. This is why we encourage our customers to purchase a warranty which he did. I have attached a copy of the ****** for your review. As you can see there are no open recalls, and it has 35 service history records from all previous owners. It also shows while the vehicle was in Austin's possession there was a lapse of 10,000 miles before the oil was changed. ** ********* *** ****** *** *** ****** *** **** *** ******* ** ****** ** *** *** ***** ** ******** ******* ** *******.     ******** *** **** ******* **** **** *** ********* ***** ******** ***** ******* *** ************* ***** ** *** ** ********* *** ********* ** ******** * ******** ***** ** ***** ; the warranty does NOT cover their attempt to cover up pre existing damage and the outstanding recall on the timing chain. I plan to pursue arbitration over this specific issue. Ironically- the ****** just happens to leave out the tire change/oil change provided was at the sales managers sons work (****** ** *****) as confirmed by response above; I was never provided a work order for this detail - which again notes the shady sales tactics of this business.



    I recommend you look at their reviews that are suppressed by owner/management noting the fraudulent sales tactics coupled with shady repairs (where is my service record? CarStop admits to the repair happening shortly after buying the car)



    The owner will attempt to paint the end user as the wrong one in this - really says all you need to know about Doug ******** and Jeff ********** I didn't expect any sort of fix from a team ** ***** ***********. I just hope this case and BBB complaint serves as a 'BEWARE' for all future buyers.
