    My fiance got home from dropping our vacuum off to be fixed, and I had a question about the vacuum that he didn't know the answer to, so I said I was going to call. He warned me that the guy was a grumpy old man. However, I decided to call anyway. I had a simple question, and the man who answered was so rude that I decided to just go in and take the vacuum to be fixed elsewhere. When I got there, he asked how he could help me. I told him my fiance just dropped off our vacuum and that I was going to take it somewhere else. He asked why, and I told him I found him to be very rude on the phone and that my fiance warned me about his disposition before I called, as my fiance wasn't treated nicely either. I need to stress here, that I am not one to speak off-the-cuff in such a way to be perceived as verbally attacking. I said this to him in a calm, matter-of-fact tone, yet this man suddenly got verbally aggressive. I asked him if this was his business and he said, "Maybe it is, maybe it isn't". So I asked if he was the manager, and he said, "What the **** difference does it make." I told him if he wasn't either of those, then I planned on contacting the owner to make a complaint. He then called me a *****, and when I stood there stunned, he said, "Yeah that's right." Then he said, "Give me the **** tag on the vacuum." So I started to unwind it, and he said, "Get the **** out and don't come back." I said I hadn't planned on it. He then came around the counter and said he was going to call the cops and to give him the tag, and I said, "I'm taking it off sir." He continued to use foul language towards me as I walked out the door and he called me a ***** again. I am utterly shocked at how, in a short second, he got so aggressive and escalated the situation when I offered my feedback of why I was taking the vacuum back. If I were reading this complaint, I would be thinking there must be more to this story that I'm leaving out about my behavior, but I assure you, it's all true.

    Went to Millard Vacuum the only ***** approved to repair my handheld vacuum. $430.00 for all new parts, no warranty. My vacuum holds a charge for about 5 minutes and dies. No star rating, but had to say one to finish review.

    This ***** stick vacuum was brought to Millard Vacuum on July 27, 2022. Janet explained that the machine had been dropped and would not turn on.
    Per our NORMAL protocol I told her we would check it out and call her with an estimate. We determined that the main power supply had been damaged by dropping. I called her and explained that it would need a motor unit, and labor. And gave her the estimate.
    Janet approved the estimate, the motor was ordered on August 9th and was received in our shop on August 12th and installed Monday the 15th of August. The customer was called and she came and picked it up. The battery was working; and the vacuum was per forming properly. As for the five minute run time, I cannot address. Janet called me and said it was only running five minutes and I told her to bring it back in and we would evaluate the battery problem. (AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT PROCEDURE THAN THE ORIGINAL DIAGNOSTIC EVALUATION @ NO CHARGE} Janet declined my offer an that is the last I heard until the BBB letter.
