    Got a 6ft privacy wood fence installed with Quality fences April 2023. It is now May 2024 and 70% of our posts are split while 3-5 are bowed out. Doesn’t appear to be the first complaint with the same issue for this company. They like to blame the quality of the wood instead of the quality of their work it seems. My 3 neighbors fences that have been standing 3 years don’t have these problems. Seems to be a company quality issue not a wood problem. Would not recommend due to their “wood supply issues”. Will be going on social media to spread the word of their “quality” fences.

    Good afternoon

    I am responding to a complaint on the 6ft wood fence installed in April of 2023. I recently acquired Quality Fence and became the new owner in March 2024. After receiving the complaint and researching the issue through the pictures submitted. It looks like there are wood posts checking which is a normal process for wood as it dries out. Although it does impact the appearance it does not impact the structural integrity of the wood. There are also posts that are bowed which is likely a wood quality issue based on the pictures that were submitted. I have agreed to get a salesperson out to the site the week of May 27th to review the damage and determine next steps. Although workmanship is not under warranty in this particular instance our goal is to make it right with each and every customer. As a small business we do our best to ensure each and every interaction has a positive outcome. Understanding the frustration with having a fence in poor shape a year after installation. In instances like this all we ask for is the opportunity to be contacted directly and given the opportunity to address the issue directly. Complaints can have a damaging affect to any small business. But we will do everything in our power to make it right.

    August 31 contract signed with Sprinkler Protection for a 4 ft wrought iron fence with two (2) five foot wide gates. During installation a sprinkler system was damaged and the installers marked the location and left a pre-printed message that they had damaged same. Also two (2) four foot gates were installed rather than five (5) foot gates. I notified Quality Fence of these issues and was told someone would be out to repair and that the same person handles both of these issues. No one has shown at my home nor will anyone return my calls repeatedly placed to Quality Fence.
    The sprinkler system needs to be repaired asap so it can be shut down for the season. Also the 5 foot gates are needed to get the mower to the backyard.

    In response to the consumer complaints,  all of her concerns have been taken care of.    When the fence was sold, it was sold with 4' walk gates.  After the sale,  I believe the customer called in and communicated she wanted 5' walk gates instead of what was on the original contract.  Unfortunately,  the information was not given to the sales person to change the contract.  At this point, we have reinstalled the gates and the sprinkler system has been repaired.
