    Up charged us 110% for an alternator. The total job for the alternator was over $1000. Didn't call to tell us an estimate before installing the part. Called around to other mechanics and a Chevy dealership for a price quote and and theirs was in the $600-$700 range for the total job and $368.61 for parts, that number came from a mechanic who showed me the invoice for the vin number of the vehicle. Their price for parts was $775. When we called to inquire she said that was the cheapest part doesn't know where they're getting that number and refused to let us see her invoice for the part. When I talked to other mechanics and the dealer they said that was a "complete and total scam" and that the owners were " liars and price gougers". After going back and forth with them they begrudgingly took almost 200 off the bill but were still over charging the dealer by $200. I will never do business with these people again and I encourage others to heed my warning and avoid this business. I would have saved money by towing the vehicle 3 hours to another repair shop.
