Nov 21 2024 I called accelerated receivables to dispute a colle tion on my credit report. I was intercepted by ****** *****. The man was ******** ******. He stated that i could pay $278 and have the collection paid in full. He said that I would not have any further bills from them as I did not need credit monitoring as I already have a service that i pay for. I paid $1 to get the initial credit report for him. A week later i was billed 24.95 for a credit monitoring servuce through Standard Scores.

Background of the Issue: 1. I received medical services at ****** Area Hospital on 4/20/24. I informed the hospital of my address change on multiple occasions since bills are being sent to 305 crow ct. Unfortunately, they failed to update this information, resulting in bills being sent to an incorrect address, and eventually making it to my house months after. 2. Due to this incorrect address, I was unaware of any outstanding balance until my account was transferred to collections. This has caused additional interest and penalties on the balance per the representative on the phone if I didn’t pay today 11/5/24, I informed the representative on the phone I would not pay interest when their statements even has the wrong address. I need time to confirm this charge. Resolution Sought: I am requesting the following actions: 1. Immediate Contact with ****** Area Hospital: I ask that Accelerated Receivables contact ****** Area Hospital on my behalf to confirm that the address error originated from their billing department and was not due to any failure on my part to pay the bill. 2. Removal of Collection, Penalties, and Interest: I request that Accelerated Receivables remove this account from collections and eliminate any associated interest, penalties, or fees added since the original billing date. These charges are unfairly accruing due to an administrative error by the hospital, not due to any negligence on my part. 3. Written Confirmation of Balance: If no interest, penalties, or other fees have been applied to this account, I request written confirmation that I am only being billed for the original service amount as initially invoiced by ****** Area Hospital. This written confirmation will ensure transparency and accuracy moving forward. I am hopeful that Accelerated Receivables will address this matter fairly by removing the collection status and any associated fees, as the billing issue was outside of my control by Dec 6th, 2024.

***** ******** had an address of *** **** *****, Loda, Ill 60948-9602.  This address was used by ****** Area Hospital to send out statements on June 17,2024, July 17,2024, August 17,2024 and September 17,2024.  None of the items sent out were returned by the post office.  ****** Area Hospital had no record of a change of address.
Accelerated Receivables Solutions received the account on October 23,2024 with the *** **** ****** Loda, Ill 60948-9602.  Accelerated Receivables Solutions sent out the required validation notice to the address provided.   ***** ******** provided a copy of the validation notice dated October 25,2024 in her attachment.
***** ******** upon receiving the validation notice, contacted Accelerated Receivables Solutions, on November 5,2024, by phone.   ***** ******** disputed the account, requested validation, and provided the new address of *** **** *****, Loda, IL 60948 on November 5,2024.  The validation information was obtained and has been sent to the new address.
In the facts reviewed no information indicates the mail sent to ***** ******** was not delivered, or before November 5,2024 the new address was received by the original creditor or Accelerated Receivable Solutions.  There appears no basis to amend or change the current claims.

On Monday, August 8, I received in the mail from Accelerated Receivable Solutions 17 (seventeen) individual medical bills dating back to August of 2021, which pertained to my knee (**********************************************) and shoulder (***********************) surgeries that took place at ***************************** in **********************... These bills were never sent to me prior to this debt collection agency mailing them to me and upon calling them on Tuesday, August 9, the agency rep was ****, ******** and *********. I had 3 major sources of medical insurance that should be charged and used to pay these bills (**********************, ******** and *********************************************). I NEVER HAD SEEN THESE BILLS BEFORE and having them sent to me by Accelerated Receivables Solution with NO EXPLANATION was a threat and totally unnecessary. **************************************************************************************************************************************************************** I want these bills paid by my insurance and I have left them, the originals, at ***************************** to take care of them. This action by a debt collector negatively affects my credit rating and I am quite unhappy about it!!!!
