On 6-1/2023 I called Econo lodge in Scottbluff Nebraska. Explained I’m getting a room for my sister and paying for it. I was assured I could do that she just needs her ID. Perfect. She left the hospital checked in and called me at 630 the next morning crying 6-2-2023, because this hotel took money out of her account. Over drafted her. So I called and asked why when i was told that wouldn’t happen. Come to find out. The lady I talked to the day before wrote down my card info and left it on a piece of paper on the desk. A manager was suppose to call me on 6-3/2023 and still hasn’t. I’ve called few times a day. Either they won’t answer or I get hung up on. Left a bunch of messages. I contacted corporate and the only thing they did was give me a email. So I’ve emailed them as well. This issue needs resolved. Not right. Bad business to say one thing do the total opposite. Need money returned.

I cannot find the name of the owner of this Econo Lodge. He won't return my calls or answer emails. I am trying to get credit or refund for bogus charges of $359.24 for 4 nights stay on June 9, 2022. Because of a disability problem I did not stay there at all. I checked with the ****************** in NE. He has no business license in NE under any of the names associated with this hotel. When I was there he was using **********************, then ******************, now Econo Lodge and even *****************. He has intermingled these names on various websites he is using. He doesn't have a BBB Accreditation *************************************************************

I have filed a Complaint with the ************************* and am waiting for them to respond. What kind of business owner will not give out his name, has no business license, and will not give a refund when his mamger confirms the mistaken charges? He is * very evasive ******* who seems to be flying under the radar. And now the business phone number doesn't work. I am going to continue doing everything I can to expose him. And hopefully get my money back. Could you check and see if he's a real person?
