I applied for the road warrior position and confirmed with my recruiter that I was good to go. Flew out and arrived July 5 had a 4 hr layover. Went to orientation passed my backing test, passed my road test, did all my paperwork did my physical and drug test passed both. Within the next 2 hours in orientation they called 10 out of 29 drivers at orientation to outside and told us to get in the van we’re being sent home with no explanation. Called my recruiter goes to voicemail we both have iPhones and it shows my messages were read but no reply. This company has cost me and this is unacceptable. Sending me and 9 others on a bus home now taking 2 days and 5 buses to get home. We quit our previous jobs for an opportunity to provide a better lifestyle for our families. Now we’re being sent home with no source of income. We have responsibilities just like everyone else and this has put us in a place of not knowing what tomorrow brings. It is truly terrifying not knowing what tomorrow will bring. I recommend to not apply for a company that will fly you out do all the paperwork pass all the tests and background and send you home with no explanation. All we were told the decision came from the owner. This is absolutely unacceptable when I spoke to my recruiter only 2 positions for road warrior were available in my area and I arrived with the other driver who was accepted and we and 8 others are being sent home. This is unprofessional if I would’ve known this I would’ve stayed where I was. I will be investigating this matter with an attorney and taking this to court. I met all requirements and have 18 months experience. I get a call back from Sean and wanted to let me know that other carriers will see my review and will wonder why I was sent home in orientation. I asked why was I sent home if I was honest on my application and my recruiter cleared and verified everything was ok with safety and higher up and I was told by Sean that they dropped the ball on me.
