I had a very unpleasant phone experience with this business on 2/12/2025. After a nice Ch. 3 TV interview clip and favorable BBB rating, I called to inquire about a couple specific garage door repair items. I spoke with a Ron, calling himself the office manager.
I tried to inquire whether the business could address my particular concerns. I never got the opportunity to ask them. Instead I was met with an abrupt, abrasive 'we don't do that... we come out for $110!'
I tried to explain I certainly would not hire somebody to come out, not even knowing if they could address my concerns but got nowhere with my inquiry.
I would never consider doing business with Langfeldt Overhead Doors.

Hi Rick- As indicated in the conversation, we do not have technicians answering the phones, and based on what you described, we directed you to set up a service call to address the issue(s) you were having, since a solution could not be reached over the phone. We invite you to explore the option of a service call, as an experienced, knowledgable technician would be onsite in person to troubleshoot and recommend solutions for the issues you are having with your door or opener. We apologize that we could not provide free, over the phone, step by step tech support for your opener or garage door with as complex as openers and garage doors are. Please give us a call if you would like to set up a service call with us. Our service calls do start at $110 which covers the dispatch out to your address, and the first hour of troubleshooting and labor. Parts would be additional to that price if replacement parts are necessary. Thank you for your feedback.
