On 9 December 2024 a pickup truck pulled into my driveway. The driver handed me a company flyer and said he noticed cracking from tree roots in the pavement in front of my garage, and that they were finishing a paving job nearby with some asphalt left over. He said that he had enough material left over to repave the area and quoted me a very reasonable price. I was hesitant at first because I had heard of sealcoating scams like this, but he offered a one year warranty on the work. I agreed and they paved the area, but this made the rest of the driveway look pretty bad. He offered to complete the job for a total of $10,000. ***** Peterson told me that as a thank you for the business, I should call him in the Spring and he would sealcoat the driveway for just the cost of materials. Over the Winter, a small chunk of pavement broke loose which should fall under the warranty. When I called, ***** told me to call back later in the month to schedule a date. I called numerous times and always got voice mail. I tried email and text messages but got no response. He should at least make the minor repair, even if he backs out of the sealcoating promise.

On November 6, 2024 someone from Peterson Bros. Paving came to the door saying they had leftover asphalt from a driveway they were doing at our neighbors house. We were under the impression that they were going to fill in a dip in the driveway and maybe some cracks. Next thing I know a large truck came and starts pouring asphalt and they paved half the driveway. There was no preparation beforehand. It definitely wasnt leftover asphalt. If we were going to have a new driveway done we would have researched companies and ****** quotes as well as a description of what would be done. We had no intention of having half of a driveway done. We would have planned what we could afford. We were in shock we were handed a bill for $10,000. They were here for a total of 50 minutes. We dont have that kind of money on hand, but because we have a home equity loan we had to transfer the money to our checking. It only took 15 minutes for them to go to the bank to cash the check. People like this shouldnt be allowed to lie to people and take advantage of them. We have half a driveway paved which according to reviews may not make it through the winter. I contacted the owner later and complained about their deceptive ways of doing business. He said he rents his truck out to his employees and he cant babysit them. I told him its his business and hes responsible. I told him I would be leaving a review about how they do business. After going back and forth he agreed to at least refund 50%. I doubt Ill ever see the refund I was promised but I want to try and make sure others arent deceived like I was. Is there something that can be done about companies like this? The company is Peterson Bros. Paving according to the flyer they left, although online its Peterson Bros. Sealcoating. They are out of *********************** with several addresses. Companies like this should not be allowed to be I business.

I had the driveway resurfaced on June 17th 2024. I was told that they were putting 2 inches of asphalt on top of the driveway and that it would come with a 2-year warranty. The person in charge said they would warranty any problems with the driveway for 2 years and to contact them via their website or email for assistance. After the first heavy rain on June 24th 2024 I contacted them via email on 6/27/2024 due to some puddling in the driveway to see what could be done. I did not receive a response. I sent a message via their website on 7/8/2024 to attempt to contact them but did not receive a response. Tried again to contact via their website on August 19th 2024 and sent an email to attempt to contact Peterson Brothers. I received an email on August 20th, 2022 asking for my contact information to have someone come look at the issues, which I provided and asked them to contact me before sending anyone out to take a look at the driveway since I didn't want them to show up and not have me be home to show them the problem areas even though I had already sent pictures showing the problems. I never got a response. On September 20th. ******************************************************************************************************* June and that it had been almost 3 months and there had been no resolution provided or contact other than requesting my address. I still have not received any response from Peterson Brothers regarding the issues. I tried to explain that I was being patient because I'm sure the summer is there busy time for asphalting however, it is now been over 3 months and I cannot get assistance with a problem on the driveway even though I'm supposed to have a 2-year warranty. When they come out I planned to show them areas that are not 2 in thick and I suspect are going to cause future problems due to their scarce thickness. I wanted to get their feedback for how to handle those issues if they happen.

Work was not done as expected. Ramp leading up to door is not high enough, nor wide enough. Paving was not done to the end of the driveway. They were called several times to correct the issue. Was told they would come by and never came. Now they are not answering their phones. My 87 year old father hired these people and all he is requesting is that the work be completed as promised.

On 12/15/2023 Peterson Bros came to my home to replace a driveway, that would be 3-4 inches of asphalt thick. They only install an inch or less and there are large bare spots, cracks and very wavy. It was installed using wheelbarrows to pour the thin layer of asphalt. They left a shallow area near the top of the driveway that fills with water and freezes in the winter. This has made a hazardous conditions for people falling. I want them to add the 3 inches of asphalt to the entire driveway that they promised. I have called many times and ***** Peterson never answers. His phone mailbox is full so you cannot leave any messages. I have texted him many times.

September 2023 Hired to replace our driveway. Receipt says they were to lay 2 of new asphalt on driveway, but they barely coated it with 1/2 and now it is failing in many spots. Have contacted the owner many times and he avoids coming back to look at the driveway. Sold to us with a 1 year warranty.
