    Bought a bracket in December 2024 through a local dealer for a humminbird 360 mounting to Garmin trolling motor. While returning to weigh in in rough water a few weeks ago the bracket twisted from the 360 unit bouncing. I sent picture of the bracket to bass fish in electronics(bfe) along with pictures of the 360 showing no scratches or damage to the **************************************************************************************************** the 2 years of selling them and have refused to replace the bracket. I have a picture on the day of the tournament of my boat showing the 360 sitting straight. And pictures when we came off the water of the 360 sitting low from the twisted bracket. Sad when *** says they have never had a problem with this product, but when they do they are not willing to make it right. They also told me to try and twist the bracket back which twisting metal causes weakness. I have since tried and I cant get it completely straight due to the fact I dont have t machine tools to press this bracket properly. I just want a replacement or my money back to order a different brand.

    This customer reached out to us with no proof of purchase or any kind of order information. He claims it was purchased through another dealer but has not provided any proof of this purchase. We do not have any kind of warranty on this product that covers negligence. This product is made from 3/8" thick aluminum and the customer claims this was bent from normal wear. It is physically impossible to bend metal this thick unless it was physically damaged by the consumer. *** stands behind all of our products, even without proof of purchase within reason. However, this issue was clearly caused from some sort of physical impact. We even went to the extent of installing one of these plates in our shop and attempted to bend the plate with a crow bar and was unable to flex the plate in any way. In the end we do not cover physical damage caused by the consumer. We offered the consumer a replacement at 25% off retail as a sign of good faith which was rejected by the customer.

    I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because:

    I gave the name of the ****** who bought and installed the bracket , but was never asked for any further info.  I will get the reciept as soon as the owner gets back to work.  He is not working this week.  
    The bracket holds a flexible shaft (humminbird 360) transducer which flexes when the boat hits waves to avoid transducer damage.   
    I never said anything about normal wear and tear.   I stated we were in a storm, which happens when fishing but is not an everyday occurrence, and when I hit  a few bad waves the bracket had to have bent.   There are zero scratches on my transducer and it is a type of plastic that would show damage if I hit something.  I expect a replacement bracket under warranty.  The bracket has now been bent while on the boat and I did as the company said and did bent it back the best I could but it is not totally flat.  Bent metal becomes weak and this bracket is compromised.

    I have stated everything I need to in this case. We are not willing to replace this bracket as there is no stated warranty coverage for neglect caused by the consumer. How do we close this case?

    I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because: show me in The picture where my transducer has damage.  It is a flexible shaft on top of that and the bracket bent during rough water.  Our water here is nowhere near like some the pros run in up north and I have never seen this issue before.  But I am posting pictures of the bent bracket on every fishing page I am on, including the fishing series and clubs.  You may not want to take care of the one issue you have had but if I can convince everyone I encounter on the water I will let them know about this.

    I have not ever been one to post stuff like this but you brought this out of me as all I did was have an issue with your product I paid good money for.
