I paid this business $6,516.02 for hotel accommodations for my company for Expo West 2023.

These fees were furnished in full and I was given confirmation numbers.

However when my team went to check in, one reservation was missing a night and one reservation was canceled. No reason or prior warning was given. All rooms were confirmed prior by Expo Travel Bureau.

As a result, we had to come out of pocket additional almost $1,000 to make sure our staff had accommodations for the duration of the trip. This includes a hotel change for one guest because the original hotel was completely booked.

Last minute reservations are more expensive too so Best Western could not accommodate or match our original discounted rate. We overpaid for the room at another nearby hotel.

I was told on the phone that any reservations does not have any penalty for cancelation as long as it is 2 weeks in advance. I requested to cancel my reservation and they gave me a penalty for my reservation. They did not keep to their word on the phone.

I am the Executive Director for a non-profit trade Association that has their conference coming up in November 2022. This Travel Expo Bureau has obtained our exhibitor list online and is calling our members and exhibitors WITHOUT our consent and asking about "housing" for our conference. They are saying they can give better rates. This is a) not true, and b) irrelevant to our group because we contract the rooms directly with the hotel. We do not use third parties and we certainly did not use this company. This Travel Expo Bureau company is trying to scam my members and exhibitors and is detracting from my actual contract with our local hotel. I don't know if they are taking peoples' credit card numbers or not but my conference attendees are telling me they are getting multiple calls a day. We are getting multiple calls a day at my office as well. I spoke with someone named Samantha Green (phone number: 315-512-4252) and she claims they have not been contacting my attendees - which I know is a lie. When I pressed for them to remove us from their list, she immediately hung up on me. I called right back and spoke with Samantha again and again - told her that I wanted them to remove my organization completely from their list. She said it won't happen again but I have another member that already said they were contacted. It needs to stop.
