      At approximately 8:00 p.m. on I rented a boat on the website for winnisquam marine and I have the receipt and I paid $440 to be able to pick up that boat at 9:00 a.m. the next morning I went there the next morning to pick up the boat and the woman behind the counter asked me how I would like to pay the $2,000 deposit I said I don't have $2,000 to pay you for a deposit and she said then we can't rent you the boat and I said okay just give me my money back then and she said no and that's why I am contacting you

      The customer when he made the reservation online agreed to our terms and conditions of renting a boating needing security deposit. It also list the security deposit requirement in several places. I've attached a document with screen shots pictures that show each step of the reservation where it is displayed in addition to the customer agreeing to terms and condition. We did offer resolutions to this customer including having another party member doing the security deposit on their credit card. Also, we offered on a fully rented out day that if we re-rent the boat we would offer refund. We were not able to re-rent boat. All boat rental companies require security deposit. It is also similar to renting a car or hotel room. They all require security deposits. This should have been no surprise to this customer.
