My home warranty company hired this company to come to my house to see what was wrong with my central air conditioner this company wrote such a detailed erroneous report that my warranty company denied any coverage. I then have to hire my own company and pay out of my own pocket and the company that I hired came out and fix the problem in 10 minutes it was not anything like this company wrote in the report. I am very disappointed in American plumbing and heating and cooling they did not try to make it right for me and it was during the hottest time of the season in the summer and I had no air conditioning but they really didn’t care. They were days to answer my phone calls and when they did the answer to throw an email.

We reported this service report to the home warranty company.
    Invoicing Memo:
Many issues going on here. First the high pressure switch was tripped which stops the compressor from running but allows the fan to run. A.A. put my gauges on and then bypass the pressure switch and the low and high side skyrocketed. Indicating a restriction or over charge. I stopped it from running immediately. He said another HVAC company came a couple months ago and charged the system because it was blowing warm air. He said that the tech never checked the inside unit. I would get a new pressure switch and clean the condenser first and see how it looks. Then check for restriction and high charge. Maybe we should get a TXV as well and filter dryer in case there is a blockage in the liquid line. 3 ton Lennox 410A system on a train furnace. Pictures attached
We did not recommend a new system. We have them the information to see what we could proceed with. They denied the claim. You did not hire us directly and we are only there to report what we see and ask for further instructions from the warranty company before we can proceed with any work. We are not able to do any additional work until we get approvals from them.
Rather than being upset with us and posting a poor review you should be upset with the first company who overcharged your system and caused this issue. Our hands are tied when working with the home warranty companies.
