We were directed to use Treeline Millwork, owned and operated by Ray L****, by our builder when decided to
Hey could not complete the office, craft room, master bedroom ceiling and selected decorative trim work at our new home at ** ********* ***** ** ******* Much of the work was done and we paid a combination of cash and checks to do the work. On August 12 Treeline has not yet delivered or installed shelves in the craft room, nor installed four shelves in the office (although they were delivered) nor finished the ceiling in the master nor finished the cabinets in the craft room (two kick plates were missing and a gap between the work surface and wall needed trim). In addition the fireplace mantle supports needed to be stained and custom living room trim needed to be delivered. Ray L****, owner operator of Treeline insisted on a $7900 payment upfront to complete the work which was given to him on 8/12/22 and subsequently cashed. Ray has not completed the work and aside from a few messages about a broken saw (which he subsequently said was replaced and working) has refused to communicate with us or complete the work. We waited over six weeks for the work to be done and pleaded with Ray to at least get the shelves done so that we could unpack the craft room. This became critical when we were scheduled for furniture delivery that required use of the space where the boxes were sitting waiting for the craft room to get done. Finally my wife and I spent three dats building and installing shelves, drilling holes for the adjustable pegs, building and install in two kick plates and the trim as well. We also got someone else to finish the bedroom (except the screw holes we cannot reach to fill) and are trying to figure out how to fix the mantle. I also drilled adjustable holes, purchased and installed legs and then cut the office shelves to size, installed and painted them. We require a refund for the incomplete work. Thank you for your help.
