We had a pool installed this summer (July). We paid $13k, half of which we paid in the spring and fall of 2021. The communication with this company was horrendous. They either didn't answer their phones or said they were coming on specific days and never showed up or contacted us to make other arrangements or just to let us know what was going on. We noticed that they didn't install the LED light inside the pool so we inquired about it. Allan B***** (installer) stated that he misread the contract and they didn't have the light but they would "upgrade" us with a light that had different color led lights and requires a remote. I told them that we don't really need a light but they insisted it was no problem. He came and installed the light on the same day that they filled the pool with water. He left all the wires dangling and said we'd have to get an electrician to do it because he's never installed that kind before. He also didn't have the remote. The light cannot be used without the remote. We have called multiple times and spoken to John S**** (co-owner), he said he would ask Allan or Donny W**** (co-owner) about it and then we never hear back. They were supposed to come to get us started with how to backwash, add chemicals and test the water and never did. They are supposed to come and teach us how to winterize but I've already spoken to another company to have this done. The liner on the bottom of the pool has so many divots and wrinkles that our cordless vacuum doesn't work because it gets stuck. There's 2-3 sharp rocks just under the liner which obviously is going to affect the life of the liner. We never ended up getting the test kit, I went and purchased one at the store. I don't want the remote to this light at this point because I would have no way of knowing it works until next year when we have an electrician come. I want a new light, installed and see that it works before we close the pool for the winter.
