Hired A1professional to work on roof and interior. Received incorrect invoice x3 Oct 20, 24.Three different occasions because of their negligent tarping at night and it raining, my house flooded and roof leaked on three different occasions. There is major interior damge to walls, floors, ceilings. There is over $1,000 of personal items ruined. I had to pick up, after stepping one, over ********************************************************* my driveway almost every night after they left. They did not tarp my trees, bushes, raised garden that was in the contract and verbally told to me. They bent and buried a group of trees and bushes with roofing material that I had to bring to their attention as I started to unbury them myself! Other saplings around the house were broken due to same. Roofing material was thrown around the house and into trees. I texted the owner almost everyday with concerns so he could relay to them. No one spoke English which was a surprise to me as the initial person who came to do the estimate spoke perfect English. The crew was made up of a man, woman and three kids, maybe one was 18, but not too sure. (The other two were not. Made me very uncomfortable having them around the work area). They did not tarp any work site to keep area clean(raised garden, screened in porch) A board was broke on the ceiling of the porch and they did not replace it, just covered with roof material. I had to let them go. I do not trust or have faith that they can finish the job of the interior. I have numerous texts, pictures, videos.I had a new roofer come out and said a section of the drip edge was installed wrong. First rain it hits my deck boards, wood rails and floods the raised garden. They fail to give me insurance info so I can file claim. They fail to provide me with contract or any county permit or anything. I now have to hire a roofer and interior contractor to repair the damage due to A1s negligence.

I sent numerous pictures and have videos but are too large to send this way. Did you receive over 15 pictures

I have just found out that A1 had not installed the roof up to code and that the way they had incorrectly installed most of the materials, the warranties are not valid. I had to have the complete roof redone. I have over 62 pictures showing the terrible job they did and a letter from the roofing company that explains the pictures and why the roof was not up to code and how bad it was installed.

Here is a letter to show why the installation of A1 atempt on the roof has been found to be not up to code and materials would  have been null adn void under it's warranty due to not being installed correctly.  I had to hire Mannys Roofing to install complete new roof in order to have safe and up to  code roof. The second letter is how much it will cost to repair the interior  water damage caused by the negligent roof tarping.

On May 9, ********************************************* Exterior and we were very happy with this project. On July 24,2023 we met with ******************* who works for A1 Professional in *********, **. He wrote up a contract for siding our house and replacement of 3 really nice windows for a total of $31,450, for which we paid the down payment of $12,580. Not sure of the date they started, as they wanted to start as soon as they received the windows, but it was about a week prior to 8/29/23 when they finished and I made the final payment of $15,570. $3300 less than what was owed, due to damage that was caused to the roof. They said they would replace the roof that they damaged, the replacement of the new windows that were defective and replace the deck contractors battery and charger that was accidently taken when they were cleaning up.The roof that was damaged was the roof over the garage which is lower than the rest of the roof and level with our family room windows. They were tearing off the old siding, and had ladders and were standing on our new roof without any protection of tarps or scaffolding. The old siding with nails attached, was being thrown on the roof with nails down and another guy was using his feet to push the debris off the roof to the ground (where there again, was no tarps), causing nails to scratch down into the coating on the roof. I found the ******* (as the workers, do not speak English) to express my concern, but due to his limited English, it was hard communicating with him. The next day they put up scaffolding and tarps. But unfortunately, they had the scaffolding too low and it was sitting on the peak of the roof and when we looked out, the metal on the peak had been crushed and the guy on the ladder dropped his tin snips and made two more dents on the roof. When they realized they had crushed the peak, they tried to unbend it. We have numerous pictures and more to say about windows, but not enough room. Not heard anything from **** or **

I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because: They have had since last summer to correct the problem and we have been told numerous times that they would make this right, but all it did was prolong it and I feel this is another stall tactic. They have voided our warrantee on the materials and labor that we paid a higher price for due to the warrantee. A1 Professional's is not certified by Drexal (the standing seam roof materials company) to replace the roof that we have and they damaged. This was a brand new roof and I don't feel I should have to accept anything less. I will hire the same contractor's to replace the damaged roof, that we originally hired to put the roof on the whole house, so we will be able to get the warrantee back. As far as the windows, we will hire Window World to replace the windows, and then we will return the 3 windows back to A1 Professional so that they may send them back to the company for a refund.  The windows are a piece of c*** and we have lost all faith in the company of putting out a quality window. Of the 3 windows installed, 2 did not work and 2 of the screens have the pattern going up diagonally on the right hand side instead of straight across. Very Cheap!!  As far as the battery and charger that was taken by mistake, we will replace this to the contractor it belonged to, with a new one, since A1 is unable to return the one that was taken and it now has been used by them for 6 months.

We DO need A1 Professional to come back and replace the corner trim by the front door, where a piece was cobbed in on the bottom, due to the original piece was not long enough. We are looking for an out of court settlement, so if they are willing to pay us a total of $5644, we will return the windows back to them, so that they may get a refund from the window company, we will not go forward with a lawsuit.

     Sincerely,  Mark And ***************************
