      Originally got a quote from VIP for 660 dollars for pads/rotors bleeding the lines an hourly cost. They called back ten minutes later and said the calipers also needed to be replaced I asked how much additional would that be? 1400 Hundred dollars later. I went to go investigate the cost of calipers from their parts supplier who is O'Reilly's an the cost of one is 175 dollars. Two would cost 350. The guy proceeded to tell me that the system automatically adds the time required to install the extra part or replace. The math did not add up. When I found this out He also proceeded to tell me that the cost of His caliper the one from O'Reilly's is 270 dollars a piece because They are Life Time Warrantee their work which apparently is costing me an additional 100 dollars per caliper. Not an option just added cost that is not an option. So I proceeded to call their Concord location and Manchester location. Concords was 1346, Manchester's was 1200. Not exactly consistent across the board. So I decided to take this a step further, knowing that Dealerships usually more expensive an Subaru in Concord Nh where the car was purchased said 1100 dollars. Their hourly rate is 150 per hour. VIP's Hillsborough NH 140. Math still didn't up. The guy proceeded to ring me out an said he started to give me all sorts of deals to bring the cost down total coming to 1349.55 period. 250 dollars more than a DEALERSHIP. How is this place even in business still?

      To clarify, all parts purchased through VIP are subject to a markup to help cover the costs of doing business, including warranties, equipment, training, and other operational needs. That said, we stand behind the quality of both our parts and our workmanship by offering a lifetime warranty on the parts we install and the labor associated with themfor as long as you own the part. That level of protection is built into the price, and its something many other shops or suppliers simply dont offer.


      As for pricing differences across locations: while our parts pricing remains consistent, labor rates can vary slightly by store due to different regional costs and staffing levels. That can create some variation in final quotes between shops.


      We understand that price matters, and we also know how important it is to feel confident in the work being done. If anything still feels off or if you'd like us to revisit the estimate with you, were happy to talk through it. Our goal is to be transparent and earn your trustnot lose it.       DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. They damaged my vehicle, denied they damaged it, and refused to fix it. Doug was supposed to call me on a Monday to discuss the damages, he never called. I called Thursday got a regional manager Mike. Mike said he would meet me at the store that Saturday. I went in, he never showed up. For the service I was scheduled to get, they told me two hours. It took 8. They still denied damaging my vehicle, which was a deep gouge in my driver side door. I never received an apology, nothing. This was by far the worst car service experience and customer service experience I’ve ever had in my life. Doug was beyond rude. I now have to take my car somewhere else to fix the damage they caused. Oh and when I when to pick up my vehicle, they had left my car lights on for god knows how long. Not one apology through this whole experience.

      I think VIP uses scare tactics to promote sale of 4 tires when only 1 is needed.They tell you that your tires have dry rot.

      My car battery died in my driveway about 5:00 P.M. and I got a jump and made it to VIP in Stratham NH after 5:00, not sure if they were even open but I explained my situation and they took the car right in and put in a new battery and a new headlight as that was out too. Very grateful for the quick thoughtful service and great price.

      Location…..
      ‘Do not go to this location….crappy customer service, crappy work ethics, & unfair charges..
      Very unhappy NH veteran…
      Loyal customer for the past 10 years plus..
      I dropped my car off to get my winter tires put on, oil change & wheel alignment….
      It was at 11:00 am… waited for a call like usual never got one..they close at 4:00 pm..
      3:30 I called only to be told I was called many times.. I asked him what number.. he claimed he was given the wrong cell number..Being a 10 year customer I know my information is in the system.. when questioned about that I was told they upgraded to a new system 2 years ago.. my response was I’d taken both the of my cars there within that time frame.. So lies!!
      After all that I was presented with a 300.00 plus bill due to a stud breaking off allegedly..
      I thought if you broke an item during a service you should have to fix it.. no add another 80.00 dollars to my bill. I will never set foot in this location again as the service is terrible.. I’ll take my business to the Littleton location as I like VIP.. I just won’t be treated like this by the folks in the Woodsville location!!!

      Our District Manager of that location reached out to **** ******** regarding this and apologized for the communication and service breakdowns that occurred.  For all the inconveniences we refunded him for his visit in the amount of $309.68 on 11/15/22
