    I had my child seen by dr M Kurtz recently. We left there on bad terms after I had asked for us to be referred to another hospital as I don’t feel safe allowing my children to be seen at Boston children's. He told us he would refer us over to Dartmouth Hitchcock reluctantly leading us to believe that it would be an easy transfer, but instead I woke up to a call from dcyf all because I said I want a second opinion and would look at other options. I have this on video, so now I will be fighting the state to be able to see the professionals I choose for my kids upon doing research. If you are a parent who asks questions and likes to assess things yourself while discussing things with your child’s primary care first, do not go to Dr Kurtz at concord orthopedics. He’s a self absorbed, bad mannered, rude, and condescending doctor who doesn’t work with you but rather against you as the parent. He dismisses your concerns and if you have a loose or dented cast, he will not fix it unless you push for it. We will not be going to him again. Calling DCYF on someone because you don’t agree with seeking a second opinion, is disgusting no matter who it is and his license should be revoked till further notice.
