I purchased a live edge wood table built to spec from Jamie H****** owner of Green Mountain Tableworx. Store front located in Concord New Hampshire, factory in Smithfield Rhode Island. My first contact was with him on 9/15/2021. Placed order 10/29/21. Venmo’d two payments: $1500 10/29/21 and $2449 11/1/21. Table delivered in December 2021. By April 2022 table developed a large crack (light colored table see pics). Contacted Jamie for solution (replacement, repair or refund and take their table back). For 9 months from April 30, 2022 to approximately January 2023 Jamie put me off with multiple excuses of what he would do for me. Finally he agreed to replace the table with a pre-built model from his inventory. Table delivered 3/22/23. New table was delivered with cracks (dark colored table see pics).

We replaced the original table with one she agreed upon and was actually an upgrade of $2000 more than the original. I did without hesitation because ultimately I wanted them happy and they waited a while for a replacement .

live edge furniture sometimes has features such as holes ,cracks, blemishes and other character that is not present in traditional furniture. With any company that is a provider of this furniture, the warranty policy is that there are no warranties, written, expressed or implied. It is on all of our paperwork due to the nature of live edge furniture. We do however agree to fix or replace as we have already in this case and am certainly willing to do again.

    Complaint: ********

I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because: I do not believe I will receive a replacement table in a timely manner because the last replacement table took 11 months.  I can not wait another 11 months for a table. I have no one to help me keep this business accountable to it’s promises that are made. I see no way out.  I requested a refund and the defective replacement table returned as the most fair and expeditious way to solve the problem. As I was promised a rebuilt table to my original specs, which never materialized, I ended up having to choose a prebuilt table off the floor in a different wood and size. Please note: regardless of the type of wood, a crack in a more expensive wood or a crack in less expensive wood, is still a crack. This crack develops and causes the table to be unuseable. I would like to resolve this situation and I believe returning the defective product and receiving a refund of $3750 (not requesting a refund of the delivery fee of $199) makes the most sense. I would also consider a 50% refund ($1875) and I keep the defective, replacement table to end this situation.
    Sincerely,
