      I can’t remember what day in June but my daughter has attended little beginnings early learning in Derry NH for about 2 years and leading up to the event I was having personal struggle with state benefits helping pay for day care so I was paying out of pocket $500 at a time to the daycare. I had also paid for my daughter to attend the summer program which was an extra $139 I believe. My family had 1 incident at this school after 3 years. My boyfriend and I went to pick up my child from their first day of pre k when we got to their class their teacher told us about all the misbehaving that went on throughout the day. Being parents we told our child this behavior is not ok my child giving attitude in which my boyfriend scoops them up and tells them NO loudly. Immediately water works and screaming at the top of their lungs to which my boyfriend yells again Shut Up your attitude is not needed. Following day at pick up I get called into the office with 3 staff members and I was informed that parents complained about what had happened yesterday and that won’t be tolerated or my boyfriend won’t be allowed in the building. During this discussion it was all about how parents complained on the schools end never about is everything ok at home we really don’t want to hear people talking to kids that way can we suggest an alternative next time. No parents complained about me telling my child no and how my service dog is no longer allowed in the building. So I left the office to get my child holding back tears and ended up making the choice to change her school. One that’s a little more understanding of the sometimes overwhelming world of being a parent Since then I’ve been in small communication with the school to get my money back to which they told me I can’t get most back due to non refund policies and I’m only going to get back $169 I know that math is not right but non the less I’ve received nothing and now they won’t return any means of communication I’ve tried.

      Upon reviewing records ******* last day in attendance was 6/21/23 however a notice she was not returning to the program was not sent in until 6/22/23 via the *********** app. We did let her know via email on 6/26/23 that a 2-week notice was required as she signed a tuition agreement on 12/21/22. The summer registration fee was $50 and the summer activity fee was $60 and fall registration of $ 60 which totals $170. On our tuition rates it states that all registration fees are non-refundable. 

      There were many occasions that we sent notices via the app to mom in regards to different behaviors ***** was struggling with in the classroom and often asked for advice or collaboration on ideas to try. On 4/3/23 we even stated, "Since she has been having really hard days like this lately and has been having more trouble than usual, we were wondering if there have been any changes in her routine or anything that we should be aware of." We did pull ****** into the office by herself and confronted her on the situation that happened the day prior with her boyfriend and *****. A parent had complained that the situation made her feel uncomfortable and she didn't like the words used to quiet *****. We did state that if another incident of him screaming at ***** where the entire school could hear would result in him not being able to pick up.

      In regards to the service dog, the dog was a puppy and not trained. ****** never asked/communicated with us that she had a service animal or showed us papers. She would bring the dog into the school and allow children to surround the dog and touch it, which is a liability to us as a business

      The refund that was remaining on her account was $190.17 was sent to ***** (*****'s Grandmother) as she is whom the checks were coming from that were paying *****'s balance. 

      Uploaded I have attached picture of our summer/fall registration form and tuition rates which states the fees are non-refundable, the tuition agreement signed 12/21 and a few messages teachers sent in regards to *****'s behaviors at school.
