    Unfortunately this was poor decision on my part. I wanted the jowls lifted and my brow to be evened out but neither on happened.First she missed trimming a thread and my brow was pulled way up. I had to get back to Derry so she could trim it. I had a migraine for two weeks and extreme pain for over a month. Every time I reach out she said it was normal. Then I got an infection. She called in an antibiotic which I took for ten day. I woke one morning with a swollen eye. I hade to go back to Derry (45min) each way. She gave me a second antibiotic. It was worse the next day so I went to the ** ($1000).The doctor said the antibiotics she prescribed were useless. He put me on two more antibiotics. I had my follow up and asked for compensation and she said she will give me more treatments for free. Because there is no way I and going to let her treat me again I wasted over $3600. I am just so disappointed !Pictures 1st after, 2nd first sign of infection. 3rd infection overload.

    My apologies for the delay in response- you were sending the information to a practice manager who has not been with us for some time. *********************** had a PDO thread lift procedure at Renew MediSpa, something I have performed for clients routinely since ************************************************* performing. Unfortunately, she had a complication in the form of an infection at one of her sites. This is not common- I have seen a mild case once, and then hers, over the course of hundreds of procedures over the 9 year time span. She was prescribed antibiotic and we did follow up with her multiple times. I even gave her my cellphone number to be able to be available to discuss the case with any other medical providers who might become involved. She claimed that what I prescribed was "useless" I believe (perhaps in an online review if I recall correctly) but in fact what I gave her were standard for treating soft tissue infections.

    This is a rare but known possible complication of this type of procedure as is clearly stated in the consent form she signed- copy attached.

    Nevertheless, we felt badly of course about her discomfort and the inconvenience she experienced. I remember very clearly that I offered her alternative and non-invasive procedures as a matter of courtesy, in consideration of her experience and her dissatisfaction with her overall outcome, and at no cost to her. She thoroughly refused to entertain having anything else done. Instead, she took to social media to blast us.

    We do not offer refunds or guarantees, as is also clearly stated in our policies which she also acknowledged via her signature. 

    It is always unfortunate when a complication occurs. They are rare, and we do our best to both address them fully and to be supportive and reasonable. It was ******************** decision to end things in the way that she did.

    5/18/2023 injection to upper and lower lip. Cost $650 with a 15% dicount. I had a $300 gift card my balance due $252.50 double checked this amount at the front desk before service was done. After service I gave them the $300 gift card and the check #2699 for $252.50 they told me I owed $ 831.30 it cost me an additional $578.80. I was never told that it was going to cost me more money. The $252.50 check was voided and a check#2700 was made out for $831.30 plus the gift card of $300. So total cost between the $831.30 check and the $300 gift card $1131.30. Desired resolution I pay them $252.50 which was the price quoted with the gift card and the 15% discount at my consultation and before I had the service done. I get back $578.80.
