    02/21/25. My front crown broke. The dentist said I needed both. I paid the full $2,258.00 and they said they would submit to my insurance after. They installed defective crowns. They are the wrong shade from what I requested and do not match my teeth. One is much thinner than the other and the contour is wrong. The thinner one is chipped on the bottom. They kept telling me that they were a perfect match but after a different dentist in practice looked they finally agreed that they are defective and would order replacements, I called to check after a few weeks and they said that dentist went into labor early and that no other dentist in the office would do them because they were unwilling to pay a different dentist in the office to do the job after already paying one. They said I needed to wait months or pay out of pocket elsewhere. They have not responded to my calls since. My insurance company attempted to negotiate with them to release the funds so they could pay another practice to do them correctly but the office refused. They need to fully refund me my out of pocket expenses of $2,258.00 and release the funds back to Cigna so I can go to another practice to have the work done correctly.

    That is so disappointing. I feel stuck. I am not sure what to do about this situation and I hate that they are unresponsive to both myself and to you.
