The firearm was purchased from a gun store in ******* Fl on March 2024 It sat unused for a couple months until June when I took it out the the gun range and immediately started having problems. The gun shot a hole in a 1000 dollar suppressor I was in the process of trying out before I bought it. The bullet fragmented everywhere inside the suppressor, the firing pin, the barrel of the firearm. The firearm (Q LLC Honey Badger) and the suppressor were sent to Q in early July. Q alleged that the issue was due to a faulty bullet falling apart from the force that its twisted barrel exerts on the projectile thus causing the catastrophic failure, but as a "gesture" of good will they claimed to have replaced the barrel of the firearm. I received the firearm held together by a rubber band missing several pieces in September. After a back and forth with them they sent the missing pieces and parts to install them (something that should have been done while they had it) and claimed that any future issues were due to the quality of ammo and recommended I only use a Gorilla Ammo .300blk cartridge. After installing the missing pieces and only using the ammo they recommended were back at square 1 a few months later. The gas block on the firearm has a hex bolt and a jam nut, this controls the amount of pressure that the firing pin exerts to fire the projectile and bring up the next round up from the magazine and into the chamber to be fire again, and thus the process continues. The defect with this firearm is that it doesn't hold onto its threaded hex bolt or threaded jam-nut on the adjustable gas block instead it somehow has on three separate occasions shoot hem out of the side even though they're screwed in and leading to the firearm to lose the ability to cycle rounds or fire at all, potentially damaging the 1000 suppressor, or causing some sort of failure that could leave someone hurt.

    Mr. Vazquez-Massini,

The repairs to your firearm were undertaken following the standard process. After ascertaining the issue you were having, the appropriate component was replaced/repaired and shipped back to you.  The Q RMA team will reach out to you further concerning any remaining issues you are experiencing, and will replace your firearm if necessary.  Thank you.

I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because: I have already sent the firearm once for a catastrophic failure, it was returned to me held together by a rubber-band missing key integral components - rear take down pin, and gas block s**** and jam nuts. They sent me those parts told me to switch to their preferred brand of ammo Gorilla which is the most expensive 300 blackout ammo on the market. Their whole reasoning for the initial failure was that I didn't use this Gorilla ammo. So i went and bought Gorilla ammo and the issues persisted. A firearm should not only work with one manufacturers cartridge. If its designed for 300 blk super and sub it should work with all 300 blk super and subs. Now will different brands perform better and be more accurate, expand further, have a higher velocity?  Absolutely. Should every brand except gorilla ammo fail to FEED or SHOOT out of the barrel. No. Especially for a gun that retails for around $3200 MSRP at that price point you are in the perfectionist category of manufacturers and the fact that this gun has failed to operate aka fire a shot or broken down by either blowing through its own brand of silencers, having bullets come apart inside of it, not cycle rounds, and finally not cycle or fire rounds of the brand they tell me is what they test with (Gorilla) indicates that there is something wrong with this firearm, or brand altogether. After some post purchase research I realize I am not alone, it is the brand their quality control is horrible. Apparently some key guy left the company and their quality has gone downhill ever since, and instead of just owning up to the fact that you lost their lottery and got a lemon of a firearm they accuse you of either operating it wrong or not using the right ammunition. I would encourage the person who is reading this to just ****** "Q LLC firearm Quality Control" and see for themselves that this is not an isolated incident.

It is actually the entire reason I've reached out to the BBB, because someone else who was in the same position I am in said he had good results in getting his gun replaced and then proceeded to sell it of because he didn't trust the reliability of it, nor the company's commitment to their customers.

So given that I've been trying to talk to them and get this fixed since the first time I took it to the range and shot it, nothing at this point besides a complete replacement will be an acceptable solution.

    Sincerely,

    **** Vazquez-massini

We currently have the customers firearm at our facility in the *** department for the second time. The first time was in July 2024, after the customer had a baffle strike on his suppressor. The firearm was sent to us with no pistol brace attached and the takedown pin, detent, and spring loose in the receiver. The silencer was repaired. The firearm was inspected and found to be in good, functioning condition. Alignment of the suppressor on the barrel was confirmed using an alignment rod. Despite the silencer being repaired and the firearm being inspected, the customer immediately demanded replacement products. Despite it being unnecessary, we replaced the firearms barrel and agreed to send the customer a new silencer.  The customer had difficulty coordinating with his FFL, so ultimately rejected a replacement silencer. We sent the customer back the firearm with his loose parts in the box but held down with a rubber band.  He reported to us that he did not receive the loose parts, so we sent him new parts.

Approximately one week after receiving his returned firearm, the customer emailed stating he was having issues with the firearm not cycling subsonic ammunition but cycling supersonic ammunition.  He reported he attempted to adjust the gas block, as is typical when switching between ammunition types, but that he almost lost the adjustment screws when doing so. He demanded a replacement firearm again. Upon further discussion, it appeared that the customer was attempting to shoot subsonic ammunition without a suppressor, which is not recommended. We provided our recommendations concerning not shooting subsonic ammunition without a suppressor and also supplied further education and troubleshooting advice.

On October 11, 2024, the customer asked for a shipping label to send us the firearm for further evaluation.  Then, on October 13, 2024, he explained that he had gone to the shooting range for further testing with the ammunition brand we recommend, and reported that he did not have any issues.

On December 13, 2024, the customer contacted us again, said he lost his gas block screws, and demanded a new set right away.  On December 15, 2024, he communicated that he had filed a complaint with the BBB because the firearm will only work with our recommended ammunition and the gas block screws were allegedly failing or even breaking.

The customer sent us his firearm again on December 20, 2024.  At that time, he claimed the suppressor had a rattling noise inside. The *** team found no rattling.  The firearm was incredibly oily with an excess of powder and carbon caked inside the receiver extension. Again, we inspected the alignment of the firearm and suppressor, which were perfect. Our *** team noted that an adjustment s**** on the gas block was turned to the point that it would cause a malfunction of the firearm. Rather than just adjust the adjustment screw, the team replaced the gas block jam nut and the s**** to appease the customers worry of the screws backing out.  Upon inspecting the bolt carrier group, our team found that it was extremely oily, dirty, and the extractor was loose and floppy because the rubber o-ring was missing from the extractor. Our team cleaned the bolt carrier group thoroughly, and reassembled it using a new o-ring and extractor. The firearm was then test-fired with more than 50 rounds of varying types of ammunition. It functioned perfectly. Our team is currently performing some final testing to ensure that the gas block screws dont back themselves out, which is both highly unlikely and has yet to be seen during any of the testing thus far. That said, we are doing everything possible to ensure that the customer is confident in his firearm and suppressor.

In summary, it appears that this customer has a lack of knowledge concerning basic maintenance (such as regular cleaning) and how to operate the platform.  We will continue working with him to ensure he gathers the knowledge and confidence to correctly use the products he purchased.  We have gone above and beyond our warranty requirements.

    Complaint: 22685035

I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because I do not agree with their version of events. I've taken the gun to several gunsmiths and they agree that it's faulty. They essentially reluctantly admitting that they have now replaced the barrell, the gas block, the screws, all on a 3200 firearm that has not performed well since day one. The first time I took it out it blew a hole in the supressor and then they claimed it was the ammo manufacturers fault Fiochi which is a top ranked match grade ammo manufacturer.

As for them saying I sent them the gun without parts the only parts I took off where the ones they told me to take off any attachments, and to send just as it was purchased.. My firearm came with no pistol brace that was yet anothet expense. I understand that at the time there was some litigation regarding pistol braces but we were well past the ruling. I have an email from them saying that they "could have store the missing parts like the take downpin, the rear buffer speing, and both the gas block and jam but weree there. Yet I received the gun held together with a rubber band missing all of those pieces.

The gun was not as dirty as they claim it to be and I own 4 other firearms none of which have ever caused these many issues. I've taken this gun to several gunsmiths and they've all agreed it's a lemon and it should be replaced.

WWhich is basically what they are doing bit by bit. Sending me a broken firearm waiting for me to find the next fault and having them repair it.

Had the firearm started malfunctioning now instead of literally the first time I used it I would be perfectly fine with them just fixing it and sending it back. But the fact is this firearm has failed to function just about every time Ive taken it to the range. I've cleaned part and broken it down and cleaned every piece,.they cannot accuse me of not maintaining it. I can have 4 other people that are gunsmiths and work at the range write an email on my behalf saying I'm not making this up. And like I said in my previous message this company has a history of blaming their customers for calling them out about faulty firearms. They make great guns the problem is 1 out of 3 will meet quality inspections and the other three are disasters waiting to happen.

This is why I have reached out to the BBB because I have tried since day one to get the firesrm replaced with the same model so I could be done with this ongoing expensive headache.

I take proper care of my guns and if I don't know about something I'll bring it to the gunsmith. Was the gas block screwed on as tight as possible before I sent it? Yes. It's literally fallen out before. I adjusted it,. kapt failing to cycle their ammo after I had just cleaned it, I adjusted it some more, cleaned it some more and it still wouldn't even fire s single round. So I tightened it as much as I could and shipped it so it wouldn't come lose during transportation. Which is either what happened when they returned the firearm held together with a rubberband or they are simply trying to shift the blame towards me as they are known to do.

    Sincerely,

    **** Vazquez-massini
