    My complaint is against Microtel hotel located at ****************************************************************. My dispute is with the charge of $943.96 for a reservation made online through Wyndham Hotels website on 3/6/24 with a confirmation number of: 85393EE006196. The reservation dates were arrive June 7, 2024 check-out on June *******. We used the room the night of June 7. We attempted to cancel the following three nights, June 8,9 and 10 in person but the owner/manager refused. He informed of us of a "rule" that once the reservation had begun, it could no longer be modified.The owner/manager of Microtel said that cancellation of the remaining three nights was not possible. The cancellation policy was not available through the Wyndham online reservation page when the reservation was made. Online it stated, Cancellation policies of packages/add-ons may differ from those applicable to your stay. Please check with the property for further information. However, the cancellation policy was never emailed out by the property, nor was it stated by the owner at check-in, nor was the cancellation policy posted at the property. To emphasize this point--the cancellation policy was unavailable at time of reservation, unavailable online, unavailable during in-person check-in, and unavailable as a posted sign or form at the property. The only amount that I should be charged is for one night in the amount of $235.99.We used the Microtel for only one night and had to change hotels. Microtel in Dover is a poorly-run establishment with shady business practices. In addition to all of the trouble with modification/cancellation of the reservation they had a poor breakfast, all of the vending machines were empty, and the owner himself begged us to stay which was very uncomfortable. I think this owner does not know how to properly manage a hotel. There are many negative online reviews. I would never recommend anyone stay at this property. I already have filed a dispute with my credit card company.
