    This Store has a $20 authorization fee per washer and dryer. After 24 hours this auth is dropped and regular price is reflected. This information is posted at the store.

    I have evidence of the last 2 times I’ve been there and the holds have not dropped.
    2 separate credit cards have not had their authorization charges lifted, except a few which you can see reflected in a non $20 payment. To resolve this, a woman told me I must bring them a paper copy of the cc statements which I did. I have been charged 178.65 that I KNOW of.
    I brought in the papers;I was asked type of card and last 4 numbers which I provided. No apologies from staff- a man and woman.
    Same lady called me back saying there’s nothing they can do but offer me a $100 store card because they don’t know what the problem is- to which I responded I would have to to think about it.
    I called the store this morning and a man who may be the owner answered.

    I am a customer service professional throughout all interactions with staff I was friendly and offered any extra information they may need. I told the man who answered, my name, the reason I was calling and he responded with saying he can give me a $100 wash card. I explained I don’t believe that covers the amount I was overcharged. He told me he doesn’t want my business and can take the wash card or dispute with CC companies. I told him I am a local and I have enjoyed doing business there, so this is unfortunate and wished him a better day.
    I sincerely wish I recorded this coversation, this man told me he doesn’t care about me, I am not a local and if I was ripped off tell the credit card company and” they won’t give you a dime.”
    I tried to dispute with credit card companies- they explained this was an in store purchase so they cannot offer refund.
    I do not want a store card, the man was extremely threatening and rude on the phone.
    I need to go further into my accounts to see if they have been doing this for a long time.

    No resolution or contact has been made from merchant. However I was able to successfully dispute charges associated with one of the two accounts that were fraudulently charged. Is there a government agency I should report to to prevent others from being overcharged as well? Thank you for your help.
