    This morning i went to get my car after it had been towed. I showed up at 8 and waited over 30 minutes. The sign on their door says it opens at 8 and i talked to an employee on the phone who confirmed this and also said he would call the man on two separate occasions because he was late. The man who showed up told me they ope at 8:30, which was an obvious lie, and then asked if was the r slur, ********* when I asked if I could get a discount for waiting so long in the cold due to their inability to open on time. My car was parked for an hour and when I went outside to get it and leave it was gone. I was also told it would cost $150 when it ended up being $206. I want a full refund.

    My daughter ****** at the local Hannaford lot in ********** and planned on buying lunch from Hannaford after running across the street to attend 1 class. The car was towed before she was able to go inside and buy her lunch. When I called Hannaford for their tow service info. they let me know that ******'s Towing is watching the Hannaford parking lot like a hawk they are just waiting to swoop in and tow away cars. This practice is wrong and only serves ******'s *********************************************** to make money off of unsuspecting customers. I tried to be communicable with the employee of ******'s *********************************************** who admitted to towing the car and they were not able to assist. They demanded $150 by 4PM/ ET or the car would be impounded by them. I'm disgusted with how ******'s *********************************************** is running business and how they are crooks just waiting for unexpected customers as their prey. I would like a total refund if possible as they should have never towed the car.

     After speaking with my daughter, she has confirmed with me that she had made a purchase at the Hannaford before being towed.

    On November 7th 2022 smittys charged over 545.00 for a 2 mile tow consisting of a 150 dollar tow charge. 95 dollar transfer fee. 85 dollar storage (the car was not stored there) a 95 dollar "administrative fee" A 75 dollar cleaning fee, an additional mileage fee (for 2 miles) Personal protective equipment charge of 30$ Along with several other costs. Administrative fees according to federal law are not to exceed 20% of the tow charge. The vehicle was not stored or moved. And an addition 170 dollars was charged for storage and final moving. I don't want other people to go through this extortion from a ln accident.
