    Closed on our new home on June 29, 2022 and after many requests, the builder has refused to complete our punch list. When confronted in person, he was extremely rude and dismissive. We have a 1 year builder’s warranty. Outstanding items were: a damaged kitchen island, plumbing issues, caulking missing in bathroom and many cosmetic and minor repairs. After 9 months, when having our basement finished by another contractor, holes in our back outside wall were found with water seepage behind the insulation. This led to a work stoppage, an emergency call to him, and the builder coming to supervise this repair. We have also had a piece of siding come off the house twice, once “fixed” by the builder and the second time fixed by us. We have completed many of the items on our punch list ourselves, most of which have incurred some financial expense. Our only recourse is to make this complaint to the BBB after informing our real estate agent and the town’s building inspector. We have not seeked legal help because of the anticipated expense. We would like to warn other potential customers about the difficulties with this builder.
