    I am a traveling paramedic. I made reservations at Circle 9 campground for Sept 28 - 04/01/2024. I made a deposit of $776.38 on 08/19/2024 to secure my spot (deposit reflected on my bank account on 08/20/2024). My contract changed and I sent an email on 08/26/2024 requesting a refund for my deposit. I heard nothing from the company so I called on 09/03/2024. I spoke to ******* and she informed me that she was only able to refund me $379.50 of my deposit and that was more than allowed in the contract. I explained that I understood that there may be a cancellation fee, but not to the amount that she was charging. She asked me if I could read and said all that is in the contract. I received the contract on 08/19/2024 and never signed and returned it, however, the reservation fee was deducted while I was on the phone and PRIOR to me receiving the agreement. I never completed the agreement to send back and my contract changed less than a week after the ************** it was not disclosed to me the cancellation policy until AFTER the deposit was taken, nor did I sign and agree to the agreement PRIOR to the deposit being taken I feel a refund of at least $676.38 should be made. A 50% reservation policy is an excessive amount, and should have been verbally disclosed PRIOR to taking a deposit over the phone and sending the agreement with that information after the fact. Furthermore, the contract was never signed and agreed to. A deposit should not have been taken until the agreement was signed, or a complete refund issued within a reasonable amount of time with no returned signed agreement.

    See received refund 100% for the 50% of the ** deposit and gate deposit she paid for along with refund for days Which only added to ****** and additional $50.00 for a total refund in the amount of $379.00.
