On 4/29 we had our pool liner replaced, at the recommendation of the installer we ordered water from Hamel Trucking. When I ordered the water I was told the source of the water would be the closest public water source which should have been *****. The day of delivery Josh ********************** delivered one truckload of water then stated that he would have to come back the next day with the second load as he was hauling from Hooksett public water and they were closing for the day. We thought the first batch of water looked oddly colored and when he returned the next afternoon and the water still looked discolored I asked him "where did the water come from and why is it weird colored". **** reassured me it was ******** public drinking water and explained that early in the season the water often looks like this from sitting over the winter. We added chlorine that night because when I tested the water my strip showed zero chlorine. When it wouldn't clear out after running our filter for 24 hrs I took the water to ************ in *******, they told us it still had no chlorine and to super shock it. We used 4 bottles of liquid shock and ran the filter non stop for days and had no change to the yellow water. I brought a sample back to the store and they retested and then Empire called their water specialist as they could not determine what was wrong with the water. The specialist advised that I contact ********************** and Hooksett water to see if there had been a water issue on the day they hauled it. ********************** didn't answer and Hooksett water informed me that the water did not come from them. I have left multiple messages asking for the true source of this water but ********************** will not respond. It was Blue Dolphin pools who recognized the yellow water was caused by metal reacting to chlorine which was in their truck. We treated and thought it was resolved until we added chlorine again and it turned lavender. We are in the middle of another treatment and $100 in to chemicals trying to resolve the issue.

The water source was From the City of *********. The Cities Drinking water source. This source is approved by the state DES division.

We were not aware of the issue when we delivered the water for your pool.

I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because: It took an entire month for the business to give the correct water source, Rochester was flushing their system at the time of filling the trucks this is the source of the heavy metals and they are aware of this. Rochester public works told me that Hamel and one other trucking company has complained to them about water. This business has offered no compensation for the hundreds of dollars spent and still being spent trying to remove the metals from our pool water. We are missing out on swim time, running our electric bill up with non stop filtering and the pool stores can't offer anymore advice besides draining the water and getting new water.

    Sincerely,
