I recently purchased a vehicle from the Car Guyz in Fitzwilliam Nh. I wrote a detailed explanation down below in "explanation". I have issues with the vehicle since purchasing it. As I stated below it broke down on me on the way home to Alabama in Richmond Va. I had to stay in a Motel 6 for 6 days costing me around 700.00 dollars. I can verify this and get receipts. The left rear brake came apart. The Midas shop where I managed to get it to had to completely repair the rear brakes. It cost me 1930.00 dollars and would have been 2800.00 but they were able to help me and reaired it for less. Since arriving back in Alabama I had to put in the shop for another issue. They inspected the front brakes and recommended I replace them soon. They gave me an estimate of 900.00. It is going to cost that much because there is so much rust that it it will be a problem to repair. I purchased this vehicle with the understanding that they had repaired the rear brakes. I waited on purchasing the vehicle for a week while they did this. I dont know what they did but they didnot repair the rear brakes. All of this can be verified and I have receipts. I also still have the parts that came off of the rear brakes. These people have a mechanic shop and I trusted them to make the repairs.

    Hello ***

Glad to hear that you made it back safely to Alabama. Eric has spoken with you repeatedly to resolve this issue and is still awaiting your return call. We could have easily repaired any brake issue for about $200. Sorry Midas took advantage of you in that situation. If you're going to take a 17 year old vehicle across the country I personally would have driven it locally a couple weeks just to make sure there were no underlying mechanical issues. Unfortunately at that age things do come up as it's mechanical and unpredictable. We sell 200-300 used vehicles per year so there's bound to be a couple issues that arise. Your receipt clearly states that you are to come back to our facility for any and all repairs under the warranty. I really wish you could have just brought it back to us for the repairs. We are here to help any way we can but we can't reimburse repairs at other facilities. Please call us if you need further assistance.
