    Initial communication was in October 2022 - He came to the house to measure and we hired David to build an entertainment center on January 15, 2023. We gave him 2250.00 as a deposit on materials. Initially he communicated his plans with an estimated installation date the beginning of April. We had electrical work complete prior to this date. When I emailed looking for status in February he stated his mother was ill and there may be a delay of a few weeks. I emailed again in March - he stated his mother passed. Each time he gave us a new date, the day would come and go - I would reach out to another excuse. We started calling and leaving messages always being sent to VM. Had final communication 6/5 looking for refund - he claims he was in a care center - we asked for proof he has even started our project. States he has to keep low stress and would try. Now he has gone silent and we need to move forward with another contractor. This is a professional scammer. DO NOT HIRE!

    Just as all the others who have filed BBB complaints w about David P*****, my wife and I provided him a $2,200 down payment to build us a set of bookshelves and never delivered the product. He came up with excuse after excuse, including materials shortages, dissatisfaction with the finish he put on them, and then - as with other BBB complainants - health issues with relatives. Eventually we asked him to send us photos of the progress he was making on the shelves - which were met more excuses of not being at his New Hampshire shop for weeks at a time. We finally asked for our money back and he went radio silent. We have not heard from him since. This guy has obviously done this to many, many people before given the numerous BBB complaints as well as NH Attorney General cases. He should be in jail.
