Echoing what others said, they closed the gym with 5 days notice and refused to cancel my membership. (I never got this notice by the way but I did see other peoples email which of course didnt say how to cancel). There were no signs or anything either. I called, emailed, and even went to other locations and no one would help me. I even tried contacting their corporate office twice with no response. The owner of this zoo does own other locations as far as I know. Stay away!

    Hi *****,

Members were notified of the Goffstown location closing, however this also did not effect your membership in any way. Your membership is for access to all locations and you are still under the agreement because you have not completed the full 12 month term. It appears you visited Goffstown mostly, but are located in *************. We have two locations in ********** alone that you can utilize. This is the reason your agreement has not been canceled because the terms have not been met and you have access to other location within a 25 mile radius of your current location.

This business closed in September 2024 but is still charging fees for people that can't go to other locations. I cancelled my plan and was told even though the location is closed I was going to be billed for another month because they have a 30 day cancelation policy. Even when they close the business? Shady practice I say. Was told by Manager of ***** location that this is straight from the owner. Sounds like a scummy owner. One would think because they closed the location they would make exceptions to their policy.

Gym closed without warning. My husband and I were informed need to continue to pay until the end of the contract in spite of the gym closing. This is the letter being sent certified to the ************** location were I'm being told ****** ********, owner, spends majority of time. ****** ******** Owner, Zoo Health Clubs ************************************************************************************************ Dear *** ********,I am writing to formally request a refund and the cancellation of our gym memberships due to an unforeseen closure of the Goffstown location.I initially purchased membership in March of 2024 and was very satisfied with the services provided. Following my positive experience, my husband decided to join the gym on August 8, 2024. At that time, he was charged both the annual fee and the monthly fee. Unfortunately, we were then charged an additional monthly fee on September 6, 2024, and again on September 9, 2024.On September 7, 2024, the gym unexpectedly closed its doors without any prior notice or communication. This abrupt closure has resulted in significant inconvenience and is, frankly, one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered.Given these circumstances, I am requesting the following:1.A full refund of my husband's membership fees totaling $95.90.2.A refund of my most recent monthly fee of $53.95.Please process these refunds as soon as possible and confirm their completion. I also request written confirmation of the cancellation of both memberships and any auto-renewals.Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter. I hope that this situation can be resolved swiftly and amicably.Sincerely,

I joined The Zoo Health club in Goffstown on March 16th for $548.00 for the whole year. Yesterday, I was told by a fellow gym member there that the building had been sold and that it will be made into a church. I was informed that emails from the ************** had gone out, but myself and the member who told me they never received an email about this. No signs were put up to notify members, which should have been a no brainer on management's part. I was also told yesterday, September 6th that the last day would be September 7th. This situation was handled very poorly by Zoo Management!!!It seems that the almighty dollar was more important to them instead of treat their loyal members with any courtesy!!!! I want the last 6 months that I had aid them on March 16th of this year to be refunded back to me, and I want an apology from Zoo Health club Managers!!!! How would they like being in our positions for this!!
