Granite Project Management is the Project Management company hired by ********************************* to oversee the construction of our house. Our builder was told that draws on the account should take 48 hrs to at most 5 days to receive money for a draw. Our builder submitted a request for a ******* draw on April 15. Granite requested a few documents confirming insurance. All documents had been previously submitted during the closing but were resubmitted to the company in *************************************************************************************************************** work before it was finished. After several contacts regarding the documents. The draw was approved 4./18 by *** via email to the builder. ***** called on Monday when the draw was not in his account. ********************** says it was wired and would take 2-3 days (lie) I spoke to both Granite and the Builder on Monday- I was assured the draw had been approved and was on the way. The Builder got an email that mentioned a draw schedule that I have been assured by both Granite and UWM that does not exist. On Wednesday, We got notification from our builder he still had not been paid. . He was also informed of some type of wire fraud alert Today my builder called early this morning and was told again 3 more days. He is beyond frustrated and at this point he is financing the building of our house He has both contractors waiting to be paid and materials waiting to be paid for. This delay is costing him money and putting him behind on draws. This is effecting the progress on the house and costing us money.. We are paying the bank interest on the loan and our money is being used to earn Interest for Granite. I was on the phone with both Granite and UWH from about 11:00 until 4:10. The conversations were one lie after another that accomplished wasting time until they could say the wire would not go through till Monday. The lies and finger pointing have to stop. My husband is a disabled Vet this is a VA Loan
