    My second ********* ******* ******** ****, died on April 27, 2024 at *******************. I had purchased the gravestone from ****** Monument a number of years ago, and when my eldest ********* ****, passed away in February, 2019, I had her name, birth date, date of death, and some words important to us about her life, inscribed on the gravestone by Exeter Monument. However, this time I went with Syphers Monument of ******* ( recommended by the funeral home) and to my dismay, and only after I visited the cemetery ( I go every Tuesday in honor of ****** day of death) I recognized a mistake made. ********* Married Name was left off the monument. Back and fourth, Mr ******************** and I have gone, and his solution for a monument in the ground is unacceptable,and he refuses to do the right thing. Phone conversations, two letters written, the second by certified mail ( finally signed) but now I wait and ****** where to go next. This has become an emotional and stressful time for the ******** family, and we are still grieving the loss of *******. Thank tou so very much for any assistance

    I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because the damage was done to the gravestone when it was engraved incorrectly. The headstone does not include my daughters married name and would need to be sandblasted and re-engraved to be corrected. Mr. ********************* resolution of putting a plaque at the base of the headstone is unacceptable.

    To Whom it may Concern:

    My name is ******* Syphers, owner of Syphers Monument LLC. We will not remove the stone from the cemetery.  This is not acceptable; *** does not listen or understand the monument business.  He is a grieving man that is looking to blame the loss of his daughter on me.


    I had attached our invoice in Octobers response. Please note *** had received the invoice with what was exactly ordered to be engraved on his stone. He paid the invoice.   Her married name was not on it or did we charge him for that. He wasnt charged for her married name to be on the stone.

    I feel I was more than generous with offering him a foot marker that the mother of the daughter agreed to.
