      Made an online booking with Regal Inn on 2/29/22 for one room for 10/15-10/16/22. The total price $132.08. Their policy states, "Booking Policy:
      Reservation Deposit:
      1) A deposit of 50% of total amount is required to secure all reservations.
      2) Cancellation and Amendment:
      We require 14 days notice or guest will be responsible for full charges.
      Cancellation or modification fee any time after booking will be 50% of total amount.

      They took the full amount, $132.08, on 3/22/22.
      Friends also booked with this hotel. They were notified on 9/16/22 that Regal Inn would close on 10/1 for the season and would need to cancel and refund for the reservation. My friend notified me that evening. I emailed and called on 9/17 to cancel my reservation. My friend received a full refund. I received nothing. When I called, I was told that they had changed their mind and would be open for the dates I had reserved. When I said that I still wanted to cancel, they said I was not entitled to any refund.
      I have written numerous emails and messages and have not received any response or any part of a refund from this hotel. I believe I am, at LEAST, entitled to half the amount which would be $66.04 as I canceled within their policy.
      I feel as though they were dishonest and actually stole money from me.
